VHS : Tommy Scott - The Best Of Hopscotch [1996]
I must of seen over a hundred videos before and non of them have compared with Tommy Scott's "Hop Scotch". Nothing stirs the bowels more that watching a grizzled Scotsman marching up and down the highlands belting out hit after hit after hit. Highlights include Tommy's terrifying rendition of "Please release me" which melts seamlessly into "Stop yer ticklin' Jock". 5 years of modern tap training show as Tommy demonstrates busting some amazingly elegant foot work. Not content with bemusing passing peasants with his daywear, he is just as comfortable entertaining hordes of trapped, ugly, tourists in a barely sea-worthy excuse of a boat accompanyed by the CampPiper TM. I have had this video in my possession for eleven years now and I still watch ... Read More:

VHS : Tom Jones - An Audience With Tom Jones [1999]
This was basically one big promotion for Tom's new collaberations album - Reload - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Some of his older stuff is to say the least forgetable, but there are a few gems. 'Why why why Delighla?' etc, etc ... and the others. But perhaps the highlight of the whole video is his two duets he did with Cerys Matthews. 'Baby It's Cold Outside' and 'What's new Pussy Cat?' two stonking songs that the man with the tight trousers and the lady with the voice that'll turn the legs of any grown person to jelly really make the whole thing worth while.

The video is laced with cheesey, blatenly pre-pened questions from the 'celebrity' audience, but I suppose without them, it wouldn't be 'an audience with ...'.
