VHS : Reilly - Ace Of Spies - An Affair With A Married Woman / Prelude To War [1983]
These were the first episodes of this pretty accurate picture of the amazing life of Reilly, in fact and despite the name neither Irish nor British (though a "British" spy for many years) but probably the illegitimate son of a Jewish doctor, his mother being the (Russian) wife of a Russian colonel in the Western part of Russia. His natural father's name may have been Blumenthal.

Blessed or cursed with a ruthlessness which enabled him to kill for money his first wife (and the elderly husband she had when she first encountered Reilly), the lure of (properly paid) espionage drew Reilly.

These videos of Reilly, Ace of Spies are really superb and should be seen.
