I absolutely loved this movie - I found it haunting, beautiful and strange. Fantastic soundtrack too - especially the use of Good Vibrations.

this box set of videos is a fantastic offer, at a cheap price. if i were you, i would buy it. it contains great hits such as 'meet the parents' and 'charlies angels'. these great comedies will have you laughing your head off, while munching on your popcorn. these are great value comedies, worth buying, nowhere is cheaper to buy them then at amazon.

... that I was alive then. I love all the music in the movie and it feels very real in a unbelievable and fantastic rock and roll world. Jason Lee is superb (as is everyone in this rich and talented cast) and the band Stillwater are so good you wish they had released a record themselves (since they did play the music and sing in the movie) If you have somehow passed this movie over before or dont even like this music, the heart and relationships in the movie will make up for that. This movie warrants many MANY viewings and gets better with each one.

I came to this film b/c I knew Peter Gabriel's evocative "In your eyes" features in it. What a pleasant surprise! Being rather superficial - perhaps not -how nice to see a bunch of actors who have not been buffed in a sleek Hollywood manner, they are normal shapes/ sizes, they can act and convey emotion without designer intervention! The plot I liked, was a little unconventional, which was good; dramatic developments without hysteria or melodrama. A good ensemble piece. John Cusack is excellent; his sister Joan - always fab- lends support too. There is a cute kid but he's just that, normal with some hcarming moments. Tom Cruise -in His usual style- manages to keep the audience captivated throughout these two quite different pieces of drama; with both performances from Tom Crusie being sincere and aimable; and though fairly sharp, He manages to hold both of his quite different charaters in an endearing light, throughout, to his audience. Jerry Maguire is a lighthearted, but moving modern day romance with a few twists and humour thrown in; though maybe slightly predicatable, it is still an enjoyable and warm film, with a great soundtack, that holds both male and female attention, from beginning to end!
