Brought this off a mate of mine for £1 and watched it a couple of days later. About 10 minutes into it i realised i had seen it before on tv many years back and promised to myself i would buy it on dvd, but as usuall i forgot what it was called and it went out of my memory. Just by luck i brought it off my mate as he was having a clearout. All i can say is, his mistake. I have literally hundreds of dvds, movies and series and i can safely say, this dvd wont even be leaving my collect. 3 key factors in this movie dictated why you should buy this: 1- The humour. This has some great action and good lines. It's a good film and the stunts have some great moments to them. Well worth buying.

I remember watching this film when it came out, and was absorbed by the suspense and surprise, yet random 'deaths' that occurred throughout. In typical fashion, I lent it off a mate at school, who I'm sure we all knew one, had dad who was a bit dodgy... and had the pirate copy on VHS. It was a big talking point, and we all laughed over various parts of the film. Unfortunately, I personally don't think the film is half as good second time round. I'm sure it's not just me now that i'm older, but it seemed the more I tried to take it all in, the less convincing it all is. THE PERFECT STORM brings the pages to life. The movie features a big-name cast (George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg) playing the gruff, edgy fishermen in the Gloucester, Massachusetts, port, as well as close-up camera shots of the boats moored on the wintry docks. DEEP BLUE SEA absolutely does what it set out to do -- create a nail-biting rollercoaster ride of thrills and adrenaline. It's not a good movie, but it's highly recommended for a mindless Friday night thrill or a bit of Saturday matinee escapism. 3 KINGS shows of the acting skills of george cloony as well as the star Ice T. you'll cry, you'll laugh you'll definatly buy this after this review.

You need to watch this film. For some reason it has dissolved into the `that was a great film but we never hear about it` category. A bit the same as the `Trinity` spagetti westerns. It's just funny, it's the guy all guys wanted to be about the time of Grease, then the world became PC. Thing is, it's like going to a Chubby Brown stand up night ... makes you cringe for the females then you realise half the audience is female ... they get it. Sex and the City ... some guys got it ... well the balance is there and it will have you doubled up in laughter and repeating a lot of the lines such as "unbelievable", this word was made for the way it is said by Ford in the film. If you can get hold of it ... do so.

...I have made in a long time. I got this soundtrack relying on previous reviewers and it turned out to be one of the most entertaining and best composed works I can recall. Heroic, romantic, inspired, it does not need the film to be enjoyed by its own merits. A hidden classic.

From the opening sequence to the dramatic conclusion the scenes of violence are expertly put into play in a way that only the master’s of 80’s horror can do. This movie is classy in the way that only the 80's horror movies can be, with intriguingly executed scenes of violence from the yesteryear. I bought this movie for the appearance of Viggo Mortensen of Lord of The Rings fame and I wasn’t disappointed with the way he took this role as a convict in the prison which since it was closed down has been damned. A plus point for Mortensen fans is his time spent in his underwear while the inmates are questioned about the deaths of fellow inmates.
