VHS : The Fox And The Hound [1981]
Along with Robin Hood, this is my favourite Disney film (and probably has made me love foxes for life! :p). The plot is fantastic - I may have only been 5 when I first saw it but it still keeps me engaged now, 10+ years later.

Unlike Robin Hood, however, it has about four scenes where I cry; forget Bambi, this film has potential to be a true weepy when you're involved in it enough! Start to care about the main characters (Todd and Copper) and it's a never ending spiral.

2.Black Cauldron (1985) (Disney) starring: Grant Bardsley, Freddie Jones, Susan Sheridan, Nigel Hawthorne, Arthur Malet

VHS : Black Cauldron (1985) (Disney)
We have to bear in mind this movie was first made in the 1980`s and cannot be judged along with disney of today. It is indeed a brilliant and engrossing movie, still loved by children - but it seems, judged too harshly by adults who clearly expect `more` these days. The 6 year old i bought it for absolutely loves it and watches it over and over..

VHS : The Swan Princess [1995]
I would definitely purchase this for my little girl (that is if I had one), because I've been a little girl myself and I can tell you that this movie holds a place in my heart that is only rivalled by The little Mermaid!

You can't say much bad about this movie, the only things you could critisize would be the ones that makes this movie not QUITE 100% perfect. And that is in the eyes of an adult.

The drawings are beautiful, the story is great and the songs good, so I say this is well worth the money, and urge you to buy it! Every little girl should see this movie!

VHS : Trumpet Of The Swan [2000]
Richard Rich has done it again - he really must like swans - and has given us this wonderfully beautiful piece. The music is outstanding especially the songs relating to or sung by Sareena (Louis feathery true love) and the seemingly unending heart ache of the silent Louis who learns to read write and play a trumpet to try and 'find his voice' and prove to his flock that he isn't as useless as they think he is. Louis Father is exceptionally funny sometimes to the extent of you wanting to go into the film and ring his elongated neck to shut him up despite how much you love him. The animation is beautiful and pretty much flawless, i couldn't see a problem anyway. I loved this film it's a wonderful heartwarming story with amazing music, it's a great kids/family film. ...
