VHS : Airborne [1993]
This film has to be one of the coolest i've ever seen. It has an interesting and original story line along with some amazing roller blading stunts. The film was both humorous and exciting for me and i would recommend this film to anyone who is into skating. I also loved the soundtracks by Diesel and Jeremy Jordan which i think helped make this film a sucess.

VHS : Star Trek The Next Generation - Vol. 2.4 - The Dauphin / Contagion / The Royale [1998]
Although I have rated the video, it was a hard choice: I am not wild about "The Dauphin" or "The Royale", although they are indeed very typical of the early days of the Next Gen series. However, "Contagion" is an absolutely superb episode, full of all the twists and style of the best Trek stories, so getting that episode is well worth it, and there is entertainment in watching the other two. Patrick Stewart is (as always!) brilliant, and there are some great scenes of Michael Dorn (playing Lt. Worf) in all three episodes. A must for the die hard trekkies!

VHS : The X Files Movie [1998]
I watched the whole of the original X Files when they were first on TV and loved the series. I have just purchased (and watched) the X Files movie and have to admit that it has re-kindled my love for this series. The film is as good, if not better than I expected and I suspect I will now start buying the whole TV series. So, if like me, you haven't watched the X Files for a few years, I can recommend this film. I loved it.

4.Star Trek The Next Generation 18 : The Measure Of A Man / The Dauphin [1988] starring: Patrick Stewart, Brian Brophy, Paddi Edwards, Jaime Hubbard, Whoopi Goldberg

VHS : Quantum Leap - The Leap Home - Parts 1 And 2 [1990]
I am somewhat ashamed to admit that the two-parts of "The Leap Home" were the first episodes of "Quantum Leap" that I ever watched. Of course, once it was over I never missed another episode of this most unique television series starring Scott Bakula. Part I, "The Leap Home - November 25, 1969" (Episode #32, September 28, 1990), finds Sam has leaped into himself at the age of 16. Ziggy says Sam is home to help his team win the state high school basketball championship but Sam insists he is going to save his father (also played by Bakula) from dying, his sister (Olivia Burnette) from marrying the wrong man, and his brother Tom (David Newsom) from dying in Vietnam. At one point Sam actually tries to convince them he knows the future, until his singing John ... Read More:

VHS : Star Trek The Next Generation - Vol. 1.6 - Too Short A Season / When The Bough Breaks / Home Soil
Star Trek 1.6 still sees The Next Generation trying to grasp the attension of the viewers, and knows how to do it!
This volume begins with "Too Short A Season". Hostages are taken on Mordan IV, and it's the Enterprise's job to see the negotiator to the scene of trouble, but a secret is kept from Picard and his crew, and it is ready to turn fatal.
This eppisode gives The Next Generation a chance to sit back and let everything unfold, with plots, sub-plots, the past, and everything needed for a good, entertaining story.

"When The Bough Breaks" is one of the very special eppisodes of the first season that really gets you hooked. The Enterprise discovers Aldea, a planet that would compare to the Atlantis of our time. Right ... Read More:

VHS : The X Files : File 14 - Biogenesis
The X-Files long running mythology came to something approaching a conclusion with the Season Six two-parter "Two Fathers/One Son". With the hybrid arc resolved, "Biogenesis/The Sixth Extinction/Amor Fati" move onto something different - the origins of mankind.
The first episode in the trilogy - the Season 6 cliffhanger "Biogenesis" - sets up a mysterious and interesting tale, crafting religion and science together beautifully. Unfortunately, the Season 7 openers "The Sixth Extinction" and "The Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati" don't uphold this. There are moments of good character development, and an intersting story in the background - but the emphasis gradually puts the science-meets religion story into the ... Read More:

VHS : Reign Of Fire [2002]
The film starts off with great promise - the early scene at a commune with two group leaders putting on a stage show for the kids - Star Wars instead of Shakespeare! This brings humour and humanity in the very early stages. You get a sense of the warmth and the protective responsibility these people have for the children. The community `motto' about always watching the skies is a jarring reminder that there's a horror to this film.

Within minutes you care about the community and feel genuinely very concerned for them, and the arrival of gung-ho Americans upsets the balance. Unfortunately the vulnerability of the community and the feeling of concern isn't recreated throughout the rest of the film - the focus turns to big guns and action.

I might give this video and others reviews, but I don't want to buy them unless I know what is on them. Saying Star Trek The Next Generation - Vol. 1.3 is useless if you want to know what episodes are on the tape! But one fault is not bad for the best online shop around.
