1.Spider-Man - The Dragon's Challenge / Spider-Man Strikes Back starring: Nicholas Hammond, Robert F. Simon, Chip Fields, Michael Pataki, JoAnna Cameron directed by: Ron Satlof April 11, 1994

For sheer corniness I don't think you can beat these two Spiderman movies from the early eighties. If you purchase this film do not compare it to the recent blockbuster release with Tobey Maguire as they are in my opinion totally different. For a start off Peter Parker is played by a student/photographer that seems to have a PHD in everything but then again Nicholas Hammond who plays Parker/Spiderman in these films did'nt write or make the film so its not his fault. I am not criticising these films as the reason I bought them was to see if I could remember them from when I was a kid and you know what, I can't. If you like Spiderman and a bit of american corniness then I recommend you take a butchers at these two 'spidey' films.

No super powered villans, no really cool high-flying computer generated images, no real acting skills. Yes one of the original Spiderman movies the effects are naff the plot is simple and the acting cheesy. But then it WAS created years before computers were used to add sparkle and let the actors off doing really dangerous stunts. That said this film is SO bad (it definitely plays up to America's paranoia of Russia launching a nuclear attack), it actually comes out the other side looking really good. Peter Parker is Spiderman. He must solve the case of plutonium missing from his universities science lab, befeore it can be used to create a bomb, while the FBI suspect Peter of the heist and a journalist from a rival paper suspects him ... I'm so glad that the episodes of the Bionic Man and The A Team and Knight Rider have been released. I liked all the episodes that were released. I really did enjoy The A Team episodes and the Knight Rider episodes and The Bionic Man. I'm just wondering whether they'll release another box set. I hope Universal Playback does.
