This is my favorite disney movie of all time. great characters, great story and great songs.A feast for the eyes and ears. Perfect for those sick days spent snuggled under a duvet!

The Lion King is my all time favourite disney film, i just love the story the music and the way it all comes together. I have watched this film countless times and still want to watch it again. The newer disney films are in comparison rubbish to the lion king its such a big hit,so gripping and i have looked in countless shops for it and to no luck. There are a million and one copies of 101 dalmations,Aladdin but no Lion King because no1 wants to part with it, its a Quality film that i will love forever.

I've always been reluctant of sequels especially the Disney ones. They've never sounded as good. However we recieved this second hand and my sister decided to watch it..Out of interest once reading the case I decided to sit and watch through it and I was surprised to find it was not as bad as I thought it might. I do love follow up stories, if they are done properly and this was done very well. An enjoyable follow up to the original and sounds better than the third and some of Disney's latest work. I love story by all accounts, which means it treads the same lines but the history and the consequences of that history is what makes it worthwhile, as is Timon and Pumba who are still as funny if not moreso. now it may be a classic, but i'm afraid i was really disappointed with this film. my 5 yr old was frankly bored watching this, it was very slow to get moving. the story line was not what i was expecting. the jimmney cricket / conscience was to abstract for him to understand in the way it was presented. and there was a terrible bit later on with pinnochio getting drunk and smoking cigars. that bit raised a few tricky questions. what i had expected the main story line to be - pinnochio's nose growing long when he lied, occured only once for about 20 seconds in the middle of the film and never again. we will not be watching this one again sadly not enjoyable or educational

This is my favourite Disney movie. The backgrounds are detailed and stylised like a series of medieval tapestries. The intergration of the characters in what look like the best sets ever designed for a semi-swashbuckling musical/comedy/thriller is stunning. I still get frightened when the fire goes out and Maleficent appears to tempt Aurora through the back of the fireplace (Maleficent being a truly evil villainess). The score is superbly used in these scenes. Brilliant stuff.

Whilst it may seem a charming story about a relationship forged between a young evacuee and a grumpy old man, beware. The DVD contains images of abuse and neglect which can be very upsetting to young viewers. My grand-daughter aged 7 was very disturbed by it. So much so that her school have since withdrawn it from their curriculum on the impact the second world war had on children at that time. I would advise parents of young children to preview it first and only then decide whether they think it is appropriate viewing for their children.

First time i saw this movie i was about 6 or 7 years old and it became one of my favorite cartoons. Then i watched it last night (Im 24 now) and it was more intresting than the first time. I think Alice in Wonderland is a pure acid trip story, check the colors, voices, the worm with the bong and that mushroom (Magic mushroom maybe) she ate that made her big and small ??????? and also that weird cat. This movie is made in a way that makes any one who watches it love it.

This was the first video I ever bought as a child and it's still one of my favourites. It's Disney's best film. The songs are fantastic and the story of Ariel, a mermaid who just wants to be a human and expereince all the things humans do, is brilliant. 17 years on from it's original release and the Little Mermaid is as good as it ever was. A must-see film for everyone!

You don't need to know the story... I'm sure you're aware it's about a fish and his dad. 'Nuff said! This review is for the parents. My three year old son is pretty hardy but over the year or more he has been watching it I have found myself exercising various levels of censorship. On the whole it's fine but be warned Nemo's mum does get killed, there are murderous sharks, exploding war time mines and spooky deep sea beasts with large teeth! You have been warned :) I still love those darned turtles though.....

the film is great and it deserves a grammy. great actors in the film. i love the cats. good old documentary we have here. the making of snitsky's pineapple and many more. buy it with paris hiltons album. paris hilton even promoted this on mtv. she is a great singer. buy her album to day. and tine tuner's album. buy all 3 for just 2 pence.
