The story of a gang of moving men in London. Warren Mitchell is on great form as the mover who reads and quotes Plato, Aristotle and the Greek philosophers to his long suffering workmates. Really a series of comic stories. At each house they go to they encounter one of the seven deadly sins, Lust, envy, greed, anger etc.. As they encounter them the moving men led by Warren Mitchell smooth out the problems and keep the chain moving..... I will say no more I don't want to spoil the film by giving away too much. Well worth buying. Warren Mitchell plays the part as only he can. I consider this to be one of my all time great comedies. I cant wait for it to be released in the USA .

To my mind, this is one of Paul Newman's finest performances. In fact, being such a "pretty" boy has perhaps done him no favours in terms of being taken seriously because this (and the excellent portrayal of the eponimous "Cool Hand Luke") are right up there among the best screen performances I've seen. However that doesn't seem to be common knowledge amongst film buffs. "Somebody..." is based on the autobiography of boxer Rocky Graziano and Newman brings immense power and vulnerability to a damaged man who is nonetheless blessed with immense strength and resilience, both physically & mentally. This begins moments from the end of WW I. Indy and his best friend Remmy, find a treasure map from a dieing man in no man's land. His mysterious words, "The eye of the peacock" send them off on a treasure hunt for the lost diamond of Alexander the great. It is a classic Indy adventure. He and Remmy encounter pirates, natives, puzzle solving, and rival hunters. This is a roller coaster ride from the start to almost the finish, the end is much slower and has no action sequences at all. However, instead it has Indy make the life changing decision of his future career. Brilliant! Historic film from WW2 showing true British 'grit' and shows the true meaning of the 'Dunkirk Spirit'. Keeps to events and Sir John Mills gives a very good performance.

I suspect that this appeals to fans of 'games' rather than films. Tarantino has undoubtedly proved his talent in the past, but this time was not only trying to be too clever but was aiming at a totally different audience. If you spend hours on your pc playing games or watching cartoons this may appeal. But if you're expecting a film with a half decent plot and a few characters you care about - forget it!
