What a brill video. I have had this video for a couple of years and have found it to be one of the best ever. You are able to do all the exercises. The waist one is hard but if you concentrate you can do it. Highly recommended.

VHS : Billy Blanks' Tae-Bo - Everybody Get Ripped
I do enjoy Tae Bo, however I recently got a little bored with the Tae Bo videos I had but felt inspired to do some more as the results you get from Tae Bo (IF you keep doing the tapes!!) are
second to none!

This is a great workout, with better music and a nice mixture
of total body exercise!

As it's split into sections you can choose which one's you do
(for now I am sticking to the Basic part) but know that I will
eventually be doing it all!

If you like BB you'll love this!

I've used this video for 20 years now. Yes it's old fashioned and JF is smug, but there you go. It was made a long time ago. So was I. I am 60 in a couple of months. I've returned to the video recently after recovery from a bad knee injury. I used the LI workout in the eighties four weeks after major surgery. Both times with medical agreement. It works, I can keep weight off easily and it helps keep me moving like a dancer. I've done power aerobics and have been exercising for over 40 years to keep fit (and slim, as a by-product). But when you have to listen to your body, and if you want a non-competitive workout which works, use this. ignore the superficiality of the dated appearance.

VHS : Pilates Perfect Body
90 minutes of clearly described and demonstrated techniques suitable for both beginners and those who are already familiar with Pilates. I worked in Gym classes for 12 months, then had six months break. I found this tape a great way of getting back into regular exercise. The relaxation session at the end makes the whole programme very beneficial.

I liked this video (I have it on VHS). I really enjoyed the whole thing and thought the warm up and cool downs were partiularly good - really going through everything carefully. I really liked Libby Roberts and found her to be friendly and informative. I have done the Jane fonda abs, bums and thighs video and a lot of the moves are identical to this one (this one came out first!) but this is much better! It is quite dated but I don't mind - the exercises still do the same thing!

This video is a good aerobic workout, but calling it dance is a bit misleading, as not much of it is very 'dancey'.
The sound quality isn't very good, and I often can't hear what the instructors are saying, because of the music. At one point during the warm-up they seem to be having a chat and laughing at something, which the viewer can't hear because of the poor sound quality.
The actual workout is quite good, and is designed for both beginner and advanced - you watch Diane Youdale for the Easy version, Helen Carpenter-Waters for the more difficult. All in all though I'd only give it 3 stars.
