if your new to old wcw then this tape should open your eyes a much stiffer ring style and much more fun than anything wwf were doing in this period yes its dated badly (the whole black scorpion thing is funny in an unintentional way)highlights include stan hansen vs lex luger, bobby eatons leg drop is jaw dropping, rick steiner refusing to sell an amazing plucha, rey juniors dad and konan and an awesome street fight its worth noting that lex luger was on top form in this era check out his cage match at capital combat 90 with rick flair

As far as FA Cup Final's go, this has got to be up there with the best. Giantkillers of the semi-final's Crystal Palce, up againest big boys Manchester United, nobody gave them a chance. From 1-0 up to 2-1 down, Palace's FA Cup dreams were fading, enter Ian Wright who was just returning from a broken leg. with his first touch he equalised and then in extra time he scored what we all hoped would be the winner. In the end, Mark Hughes spoiled it with a clinical finish for 3-3, but what a game! The replay was never going to live up to the final and was an anti climax, but has been included anyway. A must buy for any Palace fan, or any fan of great FA Cup finals.

This is by far the best surfing video to have come out of the seventies, and features some of surfings best loved characters riding shorter boards in that smooth old-school style. The quality of the surf and the skill of the director/editor is matched only by the amazing soundtrack. You will not regret purchasing this video; you'll be surprised just how often you watch it!!

The actual royal rumble match in itself was solid and a superb performance by stone cold who was set to dominate the industry after this for a while,also noteworthy is the entrance of a young wrestler called rocky maivia who would develop into the rock ,the single greatest thing that happened to wrestling in recent years,however this was 1997 and the wwf didnt have the talent that they would later have,they were chasing wcw and losing at this juncture and it showed,although i was always wwf,always,this has not aged well. Staying with the actual royal rumble if i may,the dross that made its way to the ring at times was shameful,wrestlers that were never gonna have a wwe career,i didnt see the point in all the masked mexican wrestlers,about 5 of them ... This was the first professional Lions tour and it was very much a trail blaser for future tours, partly due to the enormous success of this video. It encapsulates everything that is best about professional rugby union - the passion, the hard sweat, the moments of individual and team genius and of course the banter. It also manages to show the humanity when players were forced withdraw through injury. So much more clinical and physical than the amateur days and even as professional rugby moves on with the likes of Jason Robinson and Iestyn Harris, it will still be the best introduction to rugby for the new fan and an even better coaching manual for the aspiring player.
