VHS : Cardio Bounce
My daughter got a rebounder for Xmas 3 years ago. I have used it much more than her doing this video. It is brilliant fun, excellent aerobic excercise and make you feel really good by the end. Only problem for the older mothers is a bit of leakage! I did find however that this improved the more I did it (perhaps training my pelivic floor??)

The 3 people on the video obviously really enjoy what they are doing and the 2 "helpers" at the back sometimes get it wrong which gives me heart.

Got Lucy Knights Gymball video for Xmas. The workout is good, but she could learn a lot from the girl that does CardioBounce.

If you have a rebounder, you need this video!!!

The title says it all, I think and the reviewer who considers it classist and misogynist has obviously failed to see the point of the movie which actually makes fun of these attitudes. Remember the scene at Mrs. Higgin's house or Alfred P. Doolite's remarks on 'middle-class morality' - hardly narrow-minded.

I like the simplicity and pace of the exercises as I can't take hectic aerobics, but she uses the same 3 or 4 steps/movements over and over again. It needs a lot more variety. I've only used the video for a week, and I'm bored stupid with it already. It's almost like she hasn't got any imagination.

VHS : Up 'n' Under [1998]
This film is a comedy which means that you dont take the rugby scenes or the rules of rugby etc seriously, its about the good winning the battle against bad, the soundtrack is excellent and the down to earth attitude of the actors is great, especially the part of the commentator which is played by Gryff Rhys Jones, and Neil Morrissey is great.
Very watchable and funny film

VHS : Who Will Love My Children [1983]
This is a film about a mother who discovers she has inoperable cancer and has to find good homes for all her many children. Her husband, though well-meaning, is a hopeless drunkard totally unable to cope or to help much. They live in a house far from town, somewhere in "Darkest America", I think Iowa or Michigan (not sure about that). The story takes one up and down, through all sorts of trauma and eventually comes up with as happy an ending as possible under the trying circumstances. The last ten minutes keep you guessing as it seems one child (quite normal save for mild epilepsy) looks like being abandoned alone in a state orphanage...this is a 5-star tearjerker and a half! Great film though and not schmaltzy at all, really, bearing in mind the ... Read More:

Every time I watch this one, it starts off superb but then by episode four it starts to collapse. Patrly because the Metebelis Three people are so stupid and can't act. There are mostly good speical effects all along, and the regeneration is fairly standard, but female spiders?

VHS : Paul And Pauline Calf's Video Diaries [1994]
Absolutely hilarious depiction of Manc lad Paul Calf, with his Chuck Norris haircut and total inability to function as a respectable citizen. Meet his mate Fat Bob, sister Pauline Lulu Calf, and two appearances by playwright Patrick Marber, as Roland the student and Spiros ("like a Greek god, only fatter and with a tache"). Very funny scripts and set-ups, this is a character Coogan ought to revive (Calf in his 40s, still on benefits despite getting four numbers once at the lottery?). One grumble - why isn't this on DVD yet? - my VHS is getting worn out.
