I dont think much of this sims 2 add on. I own every single sims 2 expansion pack and stuff packs. There does not seem to be that much more fun to the game with this pack. My daughter is a sims 2 addict she lasted one evening with this pack. When i added the sims 2 freetime for example she was glued for weeks the same with the sims 2 teen style stuff. I guess it may be down to taste for some people. I must add the word dissapointing but not a one star score.

Well - where to begin? This is the first incarnation of this long running game that I will not be playing again, and it's all due to the bugs in the match engine. I've got the game installed with the latest patch, and my initial reaction was one of glee. Some of the new features are great - the new way of transferring players, the pitch dimension alteration, more details in transfer funds and wage budgets. So far, so good. On further playing (after some hours!) it becomes apparent that many of the new features are merely gloss - such as the match confidence. The media interaction and team-talks have not been improved upon and quickly become tedious as they offer very little. After buying and selling players, setting formations and some pre-season friendlies, ... Read More:

I had held high hopes for this game, but the DRM has wrecked it. Greed on the side of EA, shame on them. I shall never buy another EA game ever again until they stop this DRM fiasco

Great game but beset with technical problems. Basically I can install the game and play it once as soon as I have installed it, but after that point pretty much every time I launch the game, either by using the start command on the disk launcher window or the desktop shortcut, I am presented with a black screen. This is not quite the same as a blank screen because the input light is on and there is computer activity, but the screen itself is just black. No combination of keys will bring me back to my desktop, so I have to do a manual reset to reboot the computer. My first suspicion was that there was a problem with my Logitech Dual Action gamepad. I had downloaded the latest drivers from the Logitech website and checked that the game supported dual analogue game controllers, ... Read More:

This game doesnt.
Think about it - what does a campagn do...
Each mission gets you a new bit of tech
Makes the overall game artificially last longer

Thats about it .
This game doesnt need one - I played a small map last night for 5 hours.
The pace is just right.
The AI adapted to my strategies with apparent ease.
I remember one encouter :
I attacked a planet - the enemy fleet sat and watched untill the planatary defences had weakened my fleet - enemy ships were still entering the system - It then sent an attacking force to the nearest one of my planets and engaged my attack fleet.

It was sneaky!!!

I cant praise the gameply enough - I would call it elegant.
Simple to learn very dificult to master ... Read More:

Bit of a belated review of a game I've owned since day 1 of its release. So lets get down to it?

Medal of Honor is a notoriously linear game. Call of Duty is a notoriously linear game. Indeed 90% of FPS these days are still veritable "rail gun" games featuring:

You.
Objective.
One approach.

That gets a bit old, very quickly. Medal Of Honor tried to spruce it up with their Airborne, but once you're past the initial parachute drop it's as linear as they come. Call Of Duty4 meanwhile sticks with the tried and tested formula. However they introduce superior set piece sequences, almost movie style scripted combat and a pretty solid plot line (decent characterisation, interesting comrades in arms etc).

Yes the badguys respawn until you in ... Read More:

Ok, here is my honest impression of the game. It's fun, it tries something different, it looks beautiful if you have a computer that can run it from medium settings on up, and it has the potential for some of the best PvP conflicts in any game I have ever seen.

The downside is that it's not quite there yet, I pre-ordered the collectors edition and I've had over a month of incredibly enjoyable gameplay. But I've also been frustrated by bugs, and the fact that some of the classes don't seem quite right yet, partly due to bugs and partly due to inefficient balancing from Funcom.

If you want a perfect game my suggestion is to wait a few months more until the major issues have been ironed out and they start releasing new content packages (There are several new areas being opened up, ... Read More:

I own and love every single Sims 2 game but I don't feel that this makes as big a difference as some of the others, such as University for example.

Your Sims are now able to pursue a variety of interests. Such as tinkering, and art and dance. To keep a Sim interested in a talent they have to keep working at it.

Once the Sim has gained enough interest in a certain area, for example, cuisine. They will first have the option of researching this hobby on the internet and in newspapers and also talking about it with other Sims. They will then be called and asked if they wish to subscribe to a magazine. You can of course say no to this and then subscribe at a later date.
Once the Sim has gained enough expertise in their area they will be given a membership card which allows them to visit ... Read More:

If, like my son (who I occasionally see emerge from his bedroom), you love WOW then buy it! You're saving pounds and you don't have to worry about taking out a subscription. It also means you have a means to blackmail your kid into cleaning his room up! :-)
