This is a ridculous version of scrabble..its totally unplayable as you can not see the letters. Anyone any ideas ? Would love to send it back !

A very good program, which I love using - but there are issues. Minor fault Some of the lower ranked 'opponants' on the program make some very strange moves - for example, sacrificing the Queen for no reason at all - when they are winning. This turns the game around immediately. Major fault ...... The program sometimes calls a stalemate - (thus ending the game) when it is clearly not a stalemate. Quite often, this happens just as I'm about to call an extremely obvious checkmate. Having said that, I would still recommend this program.

I suspect the developers had a foot each in two doors during the making of 'Art of Murder: FBI Confidential'. On the one hand the game attempts a light hearted approach to the murder mystery genre by the likes of 'Broken Sword: Knights Templar', with its low graphic violent content, little to no swearing, friendly heroine and more adventurous locations, yet at the same time, the visuals and the subject matter give the feeling they were after a more mature route to that of 'Still Life' and 'Gabriel Knight' also. What we get is a game that on many cases works adequately enough for fans of both parties, but loses any chance of having a distinct identity that could have made this game stand out of the long list of current mediocre adventures ... Nostradamus : the last prophecy This is a first person traditional point-and-click adventure with a historical detective bent. You play as Madeleine, Nostradamus' daughter (appearing as yourself or disguised as your brother). The queen visits Nostradamus to ask for help to solve and stop a series of murders afflicting those around the royal household. Since Nostradamus is too frail and his son is away then Madeleine is sent in disguise as his son. Briefly, a number of murders crop up and are investigated by the player. Hours and hours of challenge but no instructions you have to battle your way through but not too hard. Complete the first five titles to get to the emprors challenge and then watch out. What a game. Go on try it you wont be dissapointed.

A good range of features allow you to 'detune' it to your standard. [Necessary for everyone except a Grandmaster.] Excellent DataBase of Games, Openings, Endgames etc. Superb interface (the best there is), without necessarily being too flashy. Out of the ChessBase stable, so its pedigree is unmatched. Also gives free access to ChessBase.Com where players of all strengths from throughout the world can play against each other.

I found this game to be very good indeed, the tokens are interestingly voice, and they are animated as they move around the board. I think that it is great, dispite all of the previous reviews, I think you should deffiantly buy this game. A draw back may be that it can look a bit dull without a decent graphics card, since my laptop was unable to run the animations, but the PC I'm on atm works fine! A modern remake of the classic game, including european game boards, including British, it wouldn't be monopoly without it. Highly recommendable.

This is one of the strangest games I've played in a long time. Just think about it for a moment - a point and click adventure game made in 2008 and set in Wales?!? I'm not welsh but I think it's nice to set a game somewhere other than the usual settings of the USA, London etc. There're lots of nice touches such as when you start the game and you hear a horse but can't see one and you wonder what's going on but a newspaper left on the floor tells you the story of a local "ghost horse" terrorising the area. Upon entering the house you can play back phone messages from a local van driver (complete with Welsh accent!) who's claiming money off you for your horse damaging his van and your wife/girlfriend reminding you about putting a fire on. Not only does it come with the game itself, which is better than the one bought direct from Popcap, as the one bought from Popcap direct, is limited to registering it around four times in total before having to buy it again, but since it comes on the disc, you can install it as many times as you want and it also comes with the games backgrounds on disc for your desktop. It also comes with Bonus trail games which are: Bookworm Chuzzle Peggle Zuma

Peggle is one of those simple puzzle games that will have you suddenly realise it's 3 in the morning. It's a BIT like Breakout meets pinball. There's a promotional version of Peggle, dubbed Peggle Deluxe, packaged as part of Valve's Orange Box so if you were intending to get the Orange Box anyway you should get it first and at least you'll be able to try Peggle out before paying for the full version. There's also a demo version on the popcap.com website and the free browser version to play online.
