Video Games : Pikmin (GameCube)
This game IS what the gamecube is remembered for! and now it has the chance of a second lease of life from people playing in on the Wii. I have never come across a game like this before. The graphics are fantastic and i love the little touches with the Pikmin noises! although the noise they make as they drown or get burnt by fire is a little heartbreaking!. At times it can be frustrating as you realise you have navigated your way across a tough terrian to find one of the ships parts but havent got enough Pikmin to carry it back! *whoomph* thats the sound of throwing the controller on the floor!. You HAVE to try this game out. Its cute, clever and crazy! you will fall in love with the little Pikmins as they follow you round wide eyed and theres ... Read More:

Video Games : Super Monkey Ball
You have to try this for pure novelty value! i mean monkeys in balls! c'mon thats funny!.

The first few levels you get to grips with controlling your monkey ball and it can be very satisfying to reach the goal! you find you are willing the ball to go in the right direction and end up holding the controller at bizarre angles in the hope it will make the ball go more left!.

Sadly as with most games - things get harder! MUCH harder! good lord! there were levels where it starts, you breath, and the ball falls off the side! ARGGGGG!!! i can honestly say it really is the most frustrating game i have played on the Gamecube!. I never bothered to finish it. Maybe i was just rubbish at it?!?.

One good thing is the multi player ... Read More:

5.Mario Party 5 from: Nintendo

Video Games : Mario Party 5
Mario party 5 is the second gamecube istalment of nintendo's multiplayer smash. Being number 5, it could be thought that the game will feel old. Not true.

The major change with this instalment is the rehashed single player mode. The single player has always been mario partys down fall. With a single map lasting over an hour, failure was extreemly annoying, this has been altered so that now a typical story mode map lasts around 15 mins. For some this may be disserpointing, but a standard map can still be played with 3 cpu comtroled rivals, so its not like your missing anything is it?

Multiplayer is were the game really shines. the same old collect the stars routine is still the order of the day, but the borads have been changed to make ... Read More:

Video Games : Mario Party 4
This is an awesome game to get if you have a brother or sister who you play games with a lot. I play it with my big brother. The only downside to it is that when you play it on your own, after a while you can get a bit bored of the whole routine: roll dice, move, wait for CPU, mini-game.Don't get that to turn that away from you though... If you do buy it, happy partying... The mario way!!!

Video Games : Bomberman Generation (GameCube)
Like all Bomberman games, the multiplayer is spot on, with a variety of different modes to keep you and your friends happy. The graphics have also taken a nice turn, into a colourful and cartoony look. It's a shame the single player mode is soooo boring. Younger children may find it satisfying, but it's just not challenging enough. Again the graphics in single player are about the best thing.
Only buy this if you intend to play with friends.

Addictive--addictive--ADDICTIVE !!!!

What more can I say?
I've tried the GBA version of this game which I'd really recommed but the GameCube takes it to completely a different level!

Interesting graphics and sound effects, loads of different levels and bonuses to keep challenging you even when you play again and again!!

I'm not usually a 'puzzle' game kinda guy but I am totally hooked on this one!

Multiplayer modes are also great.

I'd recommend it to anyone - my wife is even fan and she's not normally that keen on games!! That just shows how good it is!!!

Many people will complain that this game is just a direct emulation from the GBA version, but is that such a bad thing? I recently bought this game and the fantastic Metroid Echoes, and Mega Game$ has been the only game placed inside my Gamecube so far.

Though the graphics are fairly simplistic (GBA-style), the game has amazing replay value. It leaves you saying to yourself, "just one more try"; in my books, this is the sign of a very successful game.

It is rather shallow on single player mode, and the mini-games are a little basic at times, but this game really shines in multiplayer mode. If you have a couple of friends and a Gamecube, then this game is a must-buy.

Video Games : Red Card Soccer (GameCube)
Throw aside the normal rules for footie. Take a ball, teams from all over the world, an ignorant ref, and a load of crazy moves. You've got RedCard. The main idea of the game is like any other football game, but this time you can hack out annoying players to your heart's content without getting sent off. Kicks in the face, deliberate tripping, and simply diving into the player are al ways of gaining possession. With a certain amoun of talent you can create a cut-shot, when you shoot for goal, which slows time into a Matrix-style scene, as your player flips a burning ball into the air and hammers it home. Here's sheer enjoyment, as you can play in friendlies and world conquest, with opponents varying from absolutely rubbih to world class. And of course, what's more fun than a tournament ...
