when i got this i heard on the ONM forum about the laser problems and was panicked by them. but mine works so i'm happy! before brawl came out my friends and i played melee for 4, near 5 years and were addicted. now brawl..... classic - this is where i started. this mode comprises of you fighting your way through a lineup of challenges, and some (like the final challenge) are more difficult than others. this is where you will meet new characters and fight to face them. subspace emissary - a real adventure. a side-(and up and down) scrolling part to the game where you will unlock music, trophies and characters. this may be one of the best ideas EVER put into a smash bros game and is a real challenge ... This is a fantastic games idea that is really let down by the fact that it uses BMI to work out what fitness level you are at. This is not accurate on Children and it promplty told my 10 year old daughter that she was obese!! - Not the type of message that young impressionable girls (and boys for that matter) should be getting. (Just for the record, my daughter isn't even slightly overweight for her height) It is a real shame that it has no way of changing the phrasing for people under a certain age, as after all the whole point of this game is to encourage people who need it to exercise. In my opinion it spoils what could be a fantastic game.

Ok, first of all, i will try and deter the wii fanboys here from dismissing my review as 'bias'. I have owned a nintendo wii since launch day and have always liked nintendo's products. However although i was pleased with the wii for a small amount of time, for months now it has been gathering dust under my tv. First the games. Nintendo does it everytime. The exclusives are very hyped and some of them rightly so. I thoroughly enjoyed Zelda until the wolf levels bored me and Mario Kart wii is always fun with friends. Metroid is good because of the controls but lack of variation lets it down as the weapons and enemies become repetitive. First off as a ps3 exclusive you really cant go wrong anyway. Having finished the game Id just like to say that if you are having any doubts about buying this game you should get rid of them right now! Graphics 5 star game play 5 star You really cant fault it. The landscape is breathtaking and the game play is and the gameplay is amazing what with the octocamo for stealth purposes as well as the close quarters combat. I did finish fairly quickly in a week but you can keep replaying as their different routes and hidden objects to find, the items you recover first time around also roll over to the next time. As someone that still thinks that Wii Sports is the best game on the Wii so far I'm probably not the best person to write a review .. But all the same I will I have a 4 y/o grand son and a wife that hates games consoles but BOTH love Wii Sports and the fact that it doesn't take a lot to get good at the game and also you can have a laff while doing so - in fact my wife has still only lost once to me at bowling. As with others I eagerly awaited the release of GTA IV. I'd played all the previous games so there was alot of living up to do. To be totally honest, when I first started playing this game, I did feel as though it was lacking something. BUT...after giving it some time it has won me over. The graphics are clearly superb...the best of any game I have played. The driving is fantastic...hard to begin with, but after some time it becomes second nature. After going back onto GTA SA and VC the driving is marginally better in GTA IV. The missions are brilliant...just the same as the type of missions we have come to love. It took me around 6-7 months to decide whether to buy the xbox360 or the PS3. My younger brothers have the xbox which is a fantastic machine with brilliant exclusives and great online play, I'd say the same for the PS3. the reason that I chose this console over the xbox is I believe it to be future proof. fantastic buy.

Battlefield: Bad Company is one of those games that just gets it right when it comes to making the gameplay fun and addictive and offers so much variety in a huge sandbox world. The single player campaign is a decent length, the graphics are pretty sweet an dsome of the motion capture is the best I have seen in a game yet. The characters are likeable guys, you don't get to really know a great deal about them you just know that you like them and they will make you laugh. The single player campaign takes these four guys on a journey to find some Gold and offers diverse and very large battlefields with some really nice graphics, an array of vehicles, weapons, special abilities and completely destructable buildings to mould into your own game.
