The price is an absolute disgrace and has resulted in a severe customer backlash. There is absolutely no way that the price point can be justified as it is nothing but total greed. There is no way that EA should be legally allowed to sell the product at nearly double the US price! To add insult to inury I recently discovered that the Rock Band guitar is NOT, I repeat NOT backwards compatible with Guitar Hero 2 or 3 (although the GH guitars do work with Rock Band). That was the final nail in the coffin for me so I will not be buying this game. If the UK has any sense at all then consumers will give a giant thumbs down to the pricing and refuse to purchase the game.

first of all i was a bit annoyed at the price, but in the end i managed to get it for £150 including the game, me and my mates couldnt wait any longer. after playing the game, i can safely say its worth every penny, we've had hours of fun on it, so mch so my m8 is gettin his own so we can battle online. great thing is, if u get bored playing the drums u cn play guitar...and then mike, and so on, so basically its not jus the same thing over n over like in guitar hero the song list is pretty damn brilliant, theres a very wide selection of tastes, but not only that, u cn download over 160 songs (at bout 50p - £1.00) each, which wen u tihnk, if u download a song on itunes, it costs that much anyway, so u ... ........ the tedious boss battles in the one player career mode . I've spent hours and hours just trying to beat Slash on the medium level and it's just become annoying now - I can't really see people playing this after Rock Band gets released - but there's still fun to be had here with multiplayer and plenty of downloadable songs .

Guitar hero is a great game but sadly the game makers have gone for more radio friendly songs which the game was supposed for classic rock and metal. There are some awesome songs here like Slayer - Raining blood(glad they put them in), Iron Maiden - The Number OF the beast(also glad about that), Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Metallica - One(glad about that too), Santana - Black Magic Woman, Poison - Talk Dirty To Me etc. All the tracks are really good some i'm not too keen on and why is killers? they are hardly called music. The game is brilliant for awhile and really addictive but once you finish it it gets boring. Also it is really expensive. this game is ace, my boyfriend bought it me because i love both films and im always singing the songs like 'i dont dance'. I gave it a go and i was on it all day! my boyfriend had to refill my glass of water for me a few times though because i was singing my heart out. The duets are soo cool. you can have 8 people in your singing party to sing along with you. also if you and someone else are singing duets and your friends are waiting for their turn on the mics, they can fiddle with stuff thats on your stage. they can change instruments and all sorts. (you have to see it to understand) however i agree with some of the reviews because the cartoons arn't great, they only have videos in the extras and those videos are of dance rehearsals and interviews. ... This is a game which anyone would like! It has 4 different difficulty settings and lots and lots of songs! It never gets boring and is great 2-player!

I own this and Guitar hero 3 and I play this more. I think this has a better song list than 3. Cracking game

I think this game is really good and i am not a big fan of Aerosmith. The good thing about having it on a next gen console especially xbox 360 is that the graphics are miles better than they are on the non-HD resolution consoles. Also on xbox 360 you can go onto the marketplace and buy new songs. Overall i think this is one of my favourite games and is a good filler inbetween gh3 and gh world tour.

This game is a great fun family game you can sing many songs and it is brillaint for the price. Good for parties.

This kareoke format for the playstation must be very good. It is the very first time i have ever used a playstation willingly and also i am finally learing how the controller works. The songs are good some are great, I hope that there will be more songs coming to practice with. I'll bet my kids wished this game was out when they were younger, i even bought a playstation to play again!
