After seeing last years Fifa get high scores in reviews and this one also, i decided to go for it, despite being a Pro Evo only game for the past 8 years. Immediately i was dismayed with the game. Comparing it last years Pro Evo was a complete joke. At the end of the day, Fifa might have the real kits and team names, but when it plays like this..you ain't gonna wanna play it for long. Graphically this game is complete sham, even by the Ps2 standards, it looks rubbish. The stats for players are far more simplified than Pro Evos and the game is just generally aimed at people who dont care about a games key details and factors which make it good or not. This game has brilliant graphics and is great fun to play. There are loads of different characters to unlock ( mostly baddies )and many different levels to explore. This game is quite easy to play ( I am 8 ) although it can get tricky at times and you need to think hard to work out how to beat the bad guys. The Batmobile and Batarangs are cool and if you liked Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones you will love this game too. Calum McKean

This game has brilliant graphics and is great fun to play. There are loads of different characters to unlock ( mostly baddies )and many different levels to explore. I got guitar hero 3 plus guitar for my birthday in April and I am still playing it now. The guitar has a real feel to it but is so much easier to play than a real one (until you get to expert). Anyone can pick it up, do the tutorial , then play it to their hearts content. I did not know many of the songs when I got it but a lot of them are now among my favorite tracks. The graphics on the ps2 are brilliant so the guitarist on the screen really looks like they are playing the song. If you buy two guitars you have lots of additional game options I have bought rock band now but I still play guitar hero a lot. A great game for all ages ( i am in my 40's)

Having bought this game, I can say that I was very impressed overall, despite that gameplay can get repetitive. I initially wanted to get the PS3 version but yet again I was put off getting the PS3 console due to more horror stories about overheating etc. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that the PS2 version is a great quality game (I feared that due to the fact that the PS2 is practically dead now, this was going to be half a game, so to speak). The story itself was fantastic and really felt that I was part of a star wars movie. I was also happy to see some of my favourite star wars characters either in the main game or as unlockable characters later on, like Emperor Palpatine (who I think is MILES better than Darth Vader as a bad guy), ... I've tried other controllers for the PS2, and in the end there is no other controller quite like the Dualshock 2. The buttons on other controllers often require quite a conscious effort to use them, but the Dualshock 2's analogue buttons are actually analogue - press lightly and you'll get one response, press a little harder and you'll get another, and so on. The Dualshock 2 seems to last as long as any other controller and is simply better quality, so there's no real competition there. As for the usefulness of a Dualshock 2 now that the PS3 is out - the Sixaxis controller bundled with the PS3 doesn't have rumble functionality, and a Dualshock 3 with rumble and Sixaxis tilt sensors will currently set you back quite a bit compared to a Dualshock ... the fifa games are rubbish in comparison to madden. The be a pro mode is useless as you can only do one game, whereas superstar mode on madden is much better as you can do a whole career and you just do your player. i have both fifa 08 and madden nfl 08 and i can honestly say that fifa pales in comparison. Franchise mode is 10 times better than manager mode. Don't waste your money get madden

the fifa games are rubbish in comparison to madden. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, even the parts that I couldn't do, and had to succumb to asking for my husband's help..e.g. controlling the altheometer!! It is a little different from the film, but who cares? Good entertainment value, andthe mini challenges are fun! Look forward to the sequel.
