Video Games : Pokémon Emerald (Game Boy Advance)
When this game came out i didn't think it would be any different to the previous version, Ruby and Sapphire, but i soon found that it was a serious improvement on them and that the new features, like a battle tower, complete what was already a great game and this is why i would recommend it to anyone. Buy it now!

The ogrinial Pokemon was groundbreaking, this-i would to say "stands up there with Blue and Yellow"-but it doesn't, its worse but still an ace game! My much beloved team are: Koroge (lvl 56), Riakou (lvl 56), Entai (lvl 55), Swampert (lvl 100), Rayquaza (lvl 100), Tyranitar (lvl 63). And i have a soft spot for this game becalse this is THE game that got me to the no.2 pokemon trainer in the whole of England! This game is slow paced at the beggining (with only lvl 5-10 Pokemon around) but it REALLY hots up when you have to fight Wally! Loved this game, i small gem.

It's a long game, with plenty to do and see, many islands to visit and battles to fight. My daughter was very pleased when she found that this game has all the Pokemon from the first series (Blue and Red) and unlike the previous games you can migrate these Pokemon onto Diamond and Pearl.
This helped a lot when it came to the legendaries.
Also, it isn't a game to be completed in a few minutes; there is always something new to do, new Pokemon to catch.
Admittedly the graphics aren't as good as they could have been, but so what? It's still a load of fun.

I've always thought their are 2 types of Gameboy game; the travelling type, and the 'home' type. Luckily, Mario Kart Advance is perfectly suited for the gamer on the move with it's fast paced racing, excellent longtivity, and impressive graphics. It makes the most out of the GBA processor with lovely 3-D 32bit graphics, which suited me fine, as I remember the original SNES version of Mario Kart being very cartoony.

A must if you own a GBA, and even more essential if you're a short journey player, like me!

hurrah! a way to play the classic snes game on the move. the people that have given it one star are probably too young to remember how great games were before fancy graphics and silly controllers. its all about the gameplay kids... and this is the game to play.

I was fortunate enough to play this on the nes as my brother had one. I remember being with my sister and brother in the parlour late at night, being glued and trying to complete the game in one go. I also remember being annoyed when i had to keep blowing in the nes and game to make it work for 20 minutes at a time. Finally, there is a god and it had been brought out on GBA. I must have played this game at least 100 times when i was younger and just discovered it on gba. I loved the colours and graphics and the music of the nes and still remember it like i was playing it now. I can not wait to get this game (i paid £20 for it but hopefully it will be worth it, going by my old memories and reviews!) and hope it will come soon. Game recently did the greatest ... Read More:

The magical adventure continues.... on the GBA! Yes the series goes to an unexpected turn to your favorite portable console. Unfortunatly it's gone a bit 2-D apart from the occasional 3-D cutscene.
One thing makes this game stand out from the other KH games. Everything is (cleverly) done with cards! To progress to other worlds you use cards! To fight heartless you use cards. Even to open doors you use cards. That's how things work in the mysterious Castle Oblivion. It may sound confusing but once you've learn't and got the hang of it you'll really like it!
Some of the Disney worlds may seem a bit of a joke or just recycled from the original game but in Castle Oblivion everything becomes new and exciting!
So pick up a copy of the brdge between ... Read More:

Video Games : The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Four Swords (GBA)
The third game in the formidable Legend of Zelda series, 'A Link to the Past' is an outstanding RPG (Role-Playing Game)/ Adventure created by Nintendo. Many would argue, it is one of the best RPGs for the 16-bit console generation. This is the first Zelda game for the SNES and remains a brilliantly crafted game, providing plenty of gameplay for all ages. Learn where Link once was to be found before Nintendo evolved the Zelda franchise with later masterpieces such as Ocarina of Time! Before I proceed further, I must state that its not necessary to have played the previous two zelda games, or know their stories, to enjoy this one. Zelda 3 works great as a standalone RPG on the SNES and can be picked up as a title in its own right.

Your ultimate quest is to defeat ... Read More:
