Video Games : Wii Fit (Wii)
This is a great game/fitness package that should encourage even the most exercise-phobic among us to have a go. It is brilliant entertainment for all ages too, not just for kids. I suffer from neck, back and knee problems, so I'm very restricted in what exercises I can do. Having tried out a friend's Wii Fit, I now plan to get one of my own! Not only does the range of exercises give me a variety of options (and for the fitter among us too), but it is also great fun and great for motivation, and best of all, you can share it with your family and friends.

It has useful fitness settings which measure your BMI and weight, and allows you to set yourself realistic goals. Each time you use the Wii, it reminds you of your last achievements ... Read More:

Having played the beta from it's opening in July, I have had an oppertunity to see what the developers have been hard at work doing since Blizzcon last year. To my surprise, the results are extroindary. As they have stated on many an occasion, they have taken the good from Burning Crusade and ran with it. The quests and storyline are fresh and rarely feel tedious, the environments are stunning and the music really helps you feel immersed in the experience.

Alot of people were dissapointed with Burning Crusade and I can happily say that Wrath of the Lich King has looked back, seen the issues that the previous expansion had and moved in the opposite direction. The Death Knight hero class, which at first to me seemed inappropriate and a possible ... Read More:

I'm going to avoid doing the usual boring thing (such as make comparisons to Pro Evolution) & just give an opinion on Fifa 09 in isolation. Admittedly, I've only played the game for one evening since owning it, but I'm impressed, and this could be just what I'm after in a football game.

Presentation wise, Fifa 09 is superb, which all too often can be covering up a product lacking in substance. But this is not the case here... While this is a football simulation, EA havn't forgotten that it is still a video game and because of this, Fifa 09 is entertaining and not sterile. However you want to play, whether it be lumping it forward, or stroking the ball around like a brazilian master, the game allows you to do it, without feeling too restricted. I ... Read More:

fifa is forever playing catch up with pro evolutuion and with both of the games implementing a 'legend mode' it seems that there is getting to be less and less originallity between the two. my younger brother has the new fifa and i'm waiting for the new pro so i've played it.

i see the five star reviews pointing its new features out things such as having to point the analogue it the direction u want the pass to go and bad reviews of it talking about being able to be pushed of the ball to easily and not being able to make long solo runs because of it. that's what makes it more realistic e.g a lightweight robinho bein knocked off the ball by a very physical vidic if he came to close, and these kinds of new features have already been implemented by pro 2008.

For little more than the price of a controller, you get this beginers game to get you going. Quite entertaining and very easy to use

It talks you through step by step how to use the remote with different games, practicing skills that will come in useful on other games.

It should entertain the kids for a while

The DRM discussion has been covered very eloquently already. I'd just like to breifly add my voice to the debate by re-emphasizing that DRM, and this DRM system in particular, are uninstallable and use up your CPU cycles. You should get angry about this theft of your pc's processing power. Yes, it is minute, but every DRM installation steals a little bit more. Quite apart from the obnoxious and offensive assumption of your guilt.

I was all ready to purchase this game as it sounds great but I refuse to accept the disgusting spyware that comes as a compulsory part of the installation, so EA have definitely lost at least one sale. Judging by the comments here, they have also lost a lot more, and I am very glad about that.

If you went to a clothes shop and were ... Read More:

This was the first game me and my sister bought (we went halfers on it) and i have to say we were excited abut it. First, let me say, in my opinion, is good about it...
1) The variety of puzzles: I liked how many different puzzles were in here, especially the maths puzzles (i ot down to 15 seconds for 30 and 45 for 100) and did see a big improvement on my maths. The clock challenge makes you think, but my personal favourite is sudoku. Before, i couldn't get into it, now i love it and i look forward playing to it.
2) The tests: the tests you take beofre you start and during your progress, although you have to enter it manually, and think that it would have been better if test were done in timed intervals.

Now for the bad points...
1) Voice recognision/ writing ... Read More:

Rented it last week and completed it within days. Far too easy and repetitive. Loved it at the start but looking back, it really not the game I hoped for. I recommend renting it for a couple of days before spending your hard earned money on it!
