This is a really good game. I'd heard fab reviews on it so I bought it myself. It arrived quite slowly but I'd not picked express so nevermind.
At first, you watch a little video, explaining what's going on. Then you pick the first part of world one and carry on going. You can't change charactor, you have to be Mario, but then it makes sense. The games are mixed difficulty; some are easy and some are hard. It does get annoying because if you get stuck on a part of a world, you have to complete it before getting onto the next part. There are 8 worlds all together. In each world there is about 10 levels. Each world is set in a different place including, Desert, Space and a more homey setting. I wouldn't get this game if you get easily irritated ... Read More:

....is an exciting mario game, with good graphics and an interesting plot: you must play as Yoshi and try to find Mario, Lugi and the gang. It can become slightly tedious when you get stuck, yet it's generally a good game. I recomend it to good gamers aged 9+.

Mario party is a brilliant game. The board game isn't that good, however the mini games are the best! Some are really random like racing around on bar of soap(my speciality) or taking pictures of the other players. I played it with my friends on a 21 hour coach journey and it made time fly. The graphics are like most Mario games(in other words great) and all your favourite characters are there....Yoshi, Peach, Toady and of course Mario. I recomend it to good gamers age 9-50. So to sum up this game I'd say....BUY IT NOW!!!

Easy to play and good fun, this is a good "entry level" game for young players - probably ages 6-9. Our daughter (8) loves it. Easy enough not to be frustrating for young players, but with enough challenge to be satisfying. Very good.

A COMPLETE LIE!!!
as im sure a lot of you know as soon as sonic entered 3D the friendly blue hedgehog went (sadly) downhill but when i saw this game i thought yes finally a sonic game that looks great and is in 2D. i was wrong :(

ok so the game does have good sides for instance it's just as fast paced as the origanal sonic that we all know and love and you can play as blaze the cat (ok so not really a reason to buy the game but a nice touch). the bosses are good as well but the entire game lacks that spark that all the other games had.

the game doesnt have a lot of gameplay in it either compared to some of the mario games on the market (new super ... Read More:

I have no previous experience with Donkey Kong so I wouldn't know what's missing or what has been improved upon from earlier titles but hopefully that offers a fresh perspective as the earlier reviews here seem to be under rating what is as a fantastic gaming experience. I award this title 5 stars. The graphics, game play and difficulty curve are all well above par creating quite the addictive 2d platformer.

The controls are unique. Using the L and R buttons you control which hand DK grabs with, grabbing either places to climb and swing from or rocks to hold and release at your enemies. Also, to add another dimension to the game play DK partners up Diddy Kong who for most of the time rides on your back but is ready to jump off to attack enemies ... Read More:

I loved this game, the graphics to me are a bit funky but they're not bad. I love how you get the baby characters and that they give you a different power depending on which baby it is you're carrying. At the moment I'm stuck in world 2, which is a bit embarassing but it is quite hard! I don't think I'd be whizzing through it like I did with New Super Mario Bros... Still a good game to have in your collection though!
