This game, like many, has both positive and negative aspects. Once again the subtle combat system is both fun and a challenge - those who claim it is mere button-mashing are missing the finer points of combat, and should look again at how they play. Yes, this method will get you by, but to become a great fighter you have to master the art of blocking, dodging and grappling, as well as hitting your opponents in the face with a baseball bat. The sheer range of characters will mean there is a fighter to suit anyone, from the pace of Sonic to the awkwardness of Olimar and Game and Watch, though yet again the Nintendo mascots Mario and Luigi are grossly overpowered. With a group of friends Smash Bros provides an unrivaled multiplayer experience. ... Read More:

I have had Smash Court Tennis 2 and Virtua Tennis 3 and was waiting for Vitrtua Tennis 4 and decided to see what Top Spin 3 was like.

Having played Virtua tennis it is a little difficult to change between the two games, mainly because on Virtua tennis it is impossible to hit the net and it is impossible to hit the ball out, no matter how badly you time the shot the ball will go in.

On Top Spin 3 however, if you miss time the shot, you will either not get it quite where you want it or hit it out or at the net, if you go for a high risk shot and miss time it, you will not get it in. It is hard to pick up on but with determination time and patience you will be a match winner and it is great, seeing the red exhausted faces, ... Read More:

Call of Duty 4, in my opinion is one of the best games on PS3, it is the one a play most often and much better than Bad Company or GTA4. The graphics are amazing and gameplay is ridiculously realistic, but if you are not going to play online i wouldn't buy it as singleplayer gets old very quickly.

At first (on the easy levels) I thought Mario Galaxy was really fun. Then I got got onto the hard levels and the fact I kept dying changed my mind. I kept on getting stuck and killed by mushrooms. I would not recommend buying it if you get distressed or infuriated easily. You can buy it if you want though.
Hope this helped!

I have had this game for just under a week and like one or two of the reviews I've read, some of the game controls were at first just to difficult to get to grips with, and also I found the starting system very awkward. It takes a a fair bit of time to get used to them and once you are, well then the game falls into place very well indeed. The career/team mode is really well thought out. You can't get world records straight away with novice athletes, but as you get better and progress through the game, you improve your team and it's attributes, and it makes you think also as some attributes are far more important for some events than others (so you need to check what events are lined up for your team for the next day of competition so you can best decide which ... Wow, Codemasters have done it again, Dirt was brilliant, but it wasn't racing.

Grid is awesome, fantastic right out of the box, the sense of speed is spot on, the handling is the right side of the arcade, and real damage, bumpers fall off in front of you, you narrowly avoid a car in front that spins out of control!

And I haven't even tried the online part yet, this is going to be the cause of many a late night swearing at the PS3.

Brilliant, the news that Codemaster have got the next F1 game is great news! These guys no how to make a racing game!

or 4... At least I think that's how long I spent playing Diablo II in every spare moment I could find, I'm not sure, I kinda lost track of time for a bit.

The concept behind making Diablo II so popular is ridiculously simple. Make an engine that can generate nearly infinite numbers of uniquely different magical items and people will play until the end of time trying to obtain a sword or a suit of armour that's just that little bit better than what you already have.

The stories and cut scenes that drive the game forward and link the various Acts are superbly done and contribute in some way to dispelling the "nothing but a clickfest" label that the Diablo games have been cast as.

Many spells and abilities are only available at level 30 or above ... Read More:

You just gotta try this game, pray to the gods you dont like it.

I quit playing this game and took up real life just over 4 months ago, life is better now that I am free.

I've racked up 4000 hours play time over the past 1.5 years, that's 166 days, nearly 6 months constant play time... I obviously totally mastered the game, made hundreds of friends, yes friends, (they might be online but I still know, respect and talk to them like I would any other friend). Because of this game I lost my families respect, my girlfriend and did much worse in my GCSE's.

In a sense I do not regret buying it, but life is better without... believe me.

I don't class myself as a gamer or a geek but yet this game destroyed me. Don't be fooled, this game is near ... Read More:

McDonalds of the gaming world, only more addictive. Starts off as fun, but its far less cutsey cash cow nature soon reveals itself.
