I got guitar hero 3 plus guitar for my birthday in April and I am still playing it now. The guitar has a real feel to it but is so much easier to play than a real one (until you get to expert). Anyone can pick it up, do the tutorial , then play it to their hearts content. I did not know many of the songs when I got it but a lot of them are now among my favorite tracks. The graphics on the ps2 are brilliant so the guitarist on the screen really looks like they are playing the song. If you buy two guitars you have lots of additional game options I have bought rock band now but I still play guitar hero a lot. A great game for all ages ( i am in my 40's)

This is another great addition to the singstar series and has a great selection of tracks, as listed by another reveiwer. There has to be a song for every one here young and old. I'd only wish they would update the format as the menu's and the game modes are still the regulars with no addtions. All in all good fun!

this game is ace, my boyfriend bought it me because i love both films and im always singing the songs like 'i dont dance'. I gave it a go and i was on it all day! my boyfriend had to refill my glass of water for me a few times though because i was singing my heart out. The duets are soo cool. you can have 8 people in your singing party to sing along with you. also if you and someone else are singing duets and your friends are waiting for their turn on the mics, they can fiddle with stuff thats on your stage. they can change instruments and all sorts. (you have to see it to understand) however i agree with some of the reviews because the cartoons arn't great, they only have videos in the extras and those videos are of dance rehearsals and interviews. ... i have most of the singstar games, and out of all of them, this was probably my favourite...even though I'm 13 and wasn't even born in the eighties! i know most of the songs, as they are the sort of songs that are often played in movies, at discos, played in my house etc. Some of the most well known include Tainted Love, Eye of The Tiger, Atomic, Wake Me Up (before you go-go)... you can play with friends or by yourself, meaning there is nowhere to hide! So come on, buy Singstar 80s and get singing!

Everytime I use this I have such a laugh, there are so many different types of songs for all ages. You can play yourself back and listen to all those golden notes, if they weren't so golden you can mess around with pitch and distortion hehe. It's brilliant for a party and it's brilliant with just the family. I've danced whilst I'm singing and if the eye toy os plugged in it's a music video. I love battling against my mates see who got a higher score, I recommend it to anyone who loves having fun :D

I am a Singstar ADDICT and found the song choice on this disc a tad tedious. Cascada, are they really a pop hit? Not to mention Daniel Powter - ugh! Bring on Singstar r n' b that's what I say!

This kareoke format for the playstation must be very good. It is the very first time i have ever used a playstation willingly and also i am finally learing how the controller works. The songs are good some are great, I hope that there will be more songs coming to practice with. I'll bet my kids wished this game was out when they were younger, i even bought a playstation to play again!

i was shocked and excited when i found out there was a new singstar game coming out. when i read the tracklisting i thought great, some good songs but theres some of them i've never heard of. you'd think with all the acts - such as take that, boyzone, a1 and others they'd be on here than the less heard of ones. also, the artists i've heard of such as savage garden, they'd put one of their famous songs on it that you all know (such as to the moon and back/truly madly deeply). overall i'm getting it and you never know i might like the unknown artists on it.

This game like the many others in its series is amazing. Fun to play before going out clubbing / pubbing / partying or a good way to get people going and out of their shells at tense gatherings when people don't know eachother :o). This version of the classic game is aimed at the late teens to 30's wannabe rock grunge boys (me) and girls who wanna play the guitar. Full of excellent indie rock classics such as "Come as you are" by Nivarna, "Favourite Game" by The Cardigans and "Don't stop me now" by Queen. Also got the gutsy girl singers that make u wanna party like Gwen Stefani and KT Tunstall. I really would advise this to all the guys and girls out there who love playing singstar but get fed up of the cr**py r+b cheesy pop and ballad filler on the other disks ... Read More:

Although it has fewer songs than other singstars, it's a firm favourite with ladies of a certain age around here. We are 20-50 years. A few glasses of wine and we can be anyone featured on the track list. Should have been called "Anthems for ladies who dont get out so much but still need fun." Tracks do seem more female orientated but thats not a bad thing. Who said PS2 was for boys anyway?
