Firstly this game is brilliant. Its alot of fun etc etc. I'm not going to regergetate what others have already said. However my only problem is a massive one. As you may or may not be aware GTA4 has been plagued with freezing problems. After playing for about 13 days it has frozen twice. The first time I had been playing for about 6 hours in one go so I can understand why it froze and thought nothing of it. However, the other day I had been playing for about 15 minutes and it froze for a second time. I wasn't too worried about it and decided to restart the console. But when trying to load the game again I noticed it was not working. I tryed a few other dics including dvds and non worked. So I now have a broken blu ray drive woop de doo. It all stems ... 3.Wii Fit (Wii) from: Nintendo

Video Games : Wii Fit (Wii)
This is superb but first one warning, unless you have the latest wii downloads it will not work so you need to make sure you can connect your wii to the internet.
The wii fit is superb value for money it is robust and you would probably pay as much for a set of recording scales however do not stand it on a deep pile carpet or the scales read fairly random, there are extension feet available for carpets but I have not tried them.
The games are well written and addictive with more being opened as you progress, there is also provision for the more sensitive among us to password protect weight information.
I particularly liked the sking and snowboarding and particularly frustrated by trying to get down the river.
There is something ... Read More:

4.Mario Kart (Wii) from: Nintendo

Video Games : Mario Kart (Wii)
As always this game's aimed at casual gamers as well!
For Starters the wheel is more of a novelty, great fun but you do so much better using the knunchuck and remote.
This one has twice the amount of tracks of the N64 version but somehow this game doesn't have the longevity... I'm finding after a fair few mass gameing sheshs we're finding that people aren't reaching for the MarioKart quite so much any more.

Overall great game and a must have!

i have played vitually all the different consoles from the Atari 2600. And then the Wii came. wow what a machine, ok so theres no Hi-Def graphics blue ray or HD-Dvd playback. No triple core CPU's running at blistering speeds. just plain and simple gameplay.

Put simply it has the most addictive games since i first played pacman for the first time in the 70's.

my hat goes of to nintendo. i bought my wife an NDS lite. she is hooked. god knows what she will be like with a Wii. i cant wait i want one.

Although I enjoy doing the puzzles, there are certain aspects of the games that render them pointless. The prog does not recognise writing consistently, (4 and 9 are often mistaken for each other), speed counting and reading are pointless exercises and you could be talking gobbledygook and it would still give you a score. It often does not recognise speech, shouting sometimes helps, but I do feel very frustrated when I have spent the time doing the games just to be sent down to the bottom of the graph because of software failure.

A nunckuk is a simple atachment to the Wii remote that gives you extra control over a game.So far 4 out of 6 of my games need it.If it has a nunchuk icon in the top-right corner of the box it needs it for all or part of the game. You get one free with the console, but you can get another for multiplayer. Here are some notes:
1.The control stick has a special feature:you can move it a little bit and it does the action a little bit, like a steering wheel!
2.The upper button is called "c" and the lower button is called "z" so if you see c and z mentioned in reviews you`ll know what they`re talking about. Don`t get them the wrong way round!
3.It fits in your hand perfectly-no need to worry about it being uncomfortable.
4.Don`t put the control stick in ... Read More:

You only get one wiimote in the standard kit wii console and while this is a fantastic controller hence why I have given it 5 stars for fun I think it is over priced as unlike other consoles there is no 'after market' 3rd part alternatives that are cheaper.

I would welcome a reduction in the price by nintendo to make the additional wiimotes more accessible for more people. Your looking at the best part of £150 to get 3 more wiimotes and nunchucks required for 4 player mode. I have got 4 and it really does make play more fun and allow more people to join in.

Just received my code for advance time, and tried to activate it. You need a CREDIT card, Mastercard or Visa, to activate your account (or gametime cards, but I can't be bothered with them). I cancelled my only credit card a long time ago, because I had no need of it, and I only have debit cards (they give me the same online protection, and no nasty bills...), so like Sony and Vanguard, Funcom and Age of Conan won't get my money.

They should be as flexible as Blizzard and Warcraft - they didn't get to number one for no reason.
