Video Games : Deus Ex: Premier Range (DVD Packaging)
I'll not go into details as to how unique & absolutely ummissable this game is. Read all the other reviews. Suffice to say it's every bit the gem it is made out to be. I merely wish to warn potentail buyers to stay away from this version. Try to get your hands on the original release. Why? Because this version comes with the latest patch already installed, and unfortunately, this latest patch is rubbish. It actually brings BACK some bugs that were fixed in previous patches. And it cannot be un-patched. Simply put, do buy the game, but stay away from this version. For reference, this game should be patched up to 1.014f and no higher.

172.Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 2 from: Eidos

Video Games : Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 2
Who wants to be a millionaire 2nd Edition follows the format of the quiz show closely enough. If you are a fan of the show and quiz games in general, you will probably find this game good value for money.

Chris Tarrant is omnipresent throughout in a kind of mutated form with all the usual mannerisms and catchphrases. The mulitplayer game starts with the 'Fastest finger first' round where you have a question with four answers that must be placed into the correct order. Answer the question correctly in the quickest time and you will be awarded your three lifelines (50-50, Ask the Audience and Phone a friend) and the chance to play for 1 million virtual pounds.

15 random questions are now asked from a fairly large selection, as ... Read More:

Video Games : Project IGI
Well just look for the title of this review, I will be writing for ever if I mension the good points, so I will go for the bad ones or to be fair the bad ONE.
The only bad point is that as you go around in the game checking in rooms for the baddies sometimes althought you checked and maybe kill everyone, when you come out of the room some how more baddies appear from that room!!!!!!.
Thats the only bad thing I can think of about IGI,
if you like this sort of "Delta force, Half life" games go and buy it, and now that the price is dropping its a very very good buy.

Video Games : Conflict: Global Storm (PC CD)
I've been wanting to play this game for quite a while and only recently did i get to try it out.

It's not a bad game but it's not anything special either. The graphics are ok although one could say that the surroundings are as sharp as one would like them. The game it self is long enough and hard enough to keep you playing for a long period of time.

However there are bad things about it aswell. The game play is not as simple as it should be. Controlling your player is not too hard but when it comes to controlling your team it becomes quite annoying. The A.I. of your enemies is acceptable but for some reason the A.I. of your team mates appeared to me to be lacking. Their aim seems to be rather poor and they seem to stick to ... Read More:

Video Games : Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Just one look at the front cover is enough to tell you everything. The picture of a bald man in a suit holding 2 guns and the name of the game 'Hitman 2' tells us that this is not a game for 'ickle Jimmy on his 5th birthday.

Hitman 2 is one of the most violent games you will ever play. Our hero (or should it be villain?) 47 is now retired as a contract killer and has retreated to a church in Sicily for redemption. However when his friend and mentor Father Vittorio is kidnapped by a twisted russian crimelord, 47 is fored to don his suit, tighten the fibre-wire and go back to his previous bosses for information.

The first thing you notice is that the graphics are greatly inproved. There is more speech and the the vioce acting is superb. ... Read More:

176.Tomb Raider: Legend (PSP) from: Eidos

Video Games : Tomb Raider: Legend (PSP)
This game is very short, eight levels (Well, seven plus a boss-fight). Also, Like all TR games since II, Lara spends more time gunning people down than actually, y'know, raiding tombs. I don't have any objection to shooting games, I've put in time in various GTA editions and Doom clones, but that's what I want from Tomb Raider.

The story is entertaining, and there are a couple of really stunning visual moments (Lara: muses on the possibility of going into the postcard busnies at one point). However, the levels are short and liniar. There is one path through each and you will never get lost - although some of the puzzles are extremely non-obvious.

Graphically, This game runs the PSP's cpu at 222mhz and it shows. There are several parts ... Read More:

Movie / game tie-ins usually reek of rushed development in order to coincide with the release of the film, resulting in a game with terrible graphics, below-average gameplay and more bugs than I'm a Celebrity. The recent King Kong game based on the Peter Jackson remake was a surprising change: unfortunately however, Reservoir Dogs does nothing to improve the image of the `Game of the Movie'.

A game on the premise of Reservoir Dogs is difficult to imagine in the first place. The idea of the game is to reveal what you did not see in the film, by allowing you to take the role of the individual robbers to show their story. Obviously this is a flawed idea: the beauty of the film is arguably that there is so much we do not see. We have to imagine the action of the ... Read More:

Most of us boxing fans have ben crying out for a boxing equivalent of Football Manager, with the miniscule (ie 3) releases often being little more than a means to set up tournamntes or bouts with little structure and certainly nothing like the Management depth that we would like. Infact up until recently the only decent Manager Game has actually been World Championship Boxing Manager (a former Commodore 64 title from the mid eighties) on emulation. This is a good start though and gives you the ability to create, train, promote and manage your fighter from pretty much every aspect. You can even witness the fight itself and give between rounds instructions etc. Of all the management games this is truly the most comprehensive. That said there are a few problems, the ... This game is absolutely ACE! Every possible aspect has been thought about long and hard. The tutorials are excellent as are the free rides that you can take! It is not easy to play at first but with patience, everything will pay off. I hope they bring out a follow up version soon!

I love the showjumping in particular as it is not as easy as you first imagine, you have to time your jump exactly otherwise you knock a pole down or worse still, get a refusal. You have to train for each competition, the more you train your horse, the better it gets, the more skill he will have at the time you need it! It is very realistic!

The dressage is not particularly easy either, pace and control of your mount is essential. Training for this is very important ... Read More:
