Video Games : Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PSP)
The PS2 game, following the resurrection of Lara that was Legend, beautifully updated the Tomb Raider series and created an excellent platforming and puzzling game. The PSP version is a direct port and as such adds nothing new, but if you haven't owned the other versions then this is an absorbing and fantastic platforming experience.

If you think of it as an exact copy of the original Tomb Raider on PS1, but with better graphics, hugely extended levels and far better gameplay. This is one of the best platformers on PS2, and it transports itself to be easily one of the best on PSP. It has fantastic graphics, typically excellent puzzles and great platforming gameplay that we've come to expect from this series.

Video Games : Championship Manager: Season 03-04 (PC CD)
he Championship Manager games have long been regarded as the best football management games around, this is reflected in the amount of games published and sold.

Incase you hadn't already known, this game puts you in charge of club from many leagues. You pick the team, buy the players, sack the staff and a whole lot more. But I'll go into further detail of that in a minute.

The basic gameplay is excellent. I've been playing Championship Manager for 6 years now, and there are only a few days when I haven't played it. The games are addictive as anything, and the easy-to-use interface means that you can play this complex game with ease. You can play this game in different ways, for example, you could take a small team up through ... Read More:

Having recently finished (and reviewed) The Angel of Darkness, I was hoping for bigger and better with Legend. My first impressions were indeed very favourable. I'm lucky enough to own a cutting-edge Vista PC on which I can crank up the game's display options to their maximum. There is a real wow moment the first time you see Lara standing on that cliff edge! Then I tried to run towards the bridge, only to see Lara go into lemming mode and slip over the edge, hanging by her fingertips! Why on earth did they change the perfectly good and intuitive up-down-left-right control system from TR's previous versions for this confusing system that depends on the cameras's position in relation to our heroine? It gets worse later on, when Lara has to swim underwater. ... Read More:

Video Games : Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend (PS2)
First off an admission: I'm not an old TR fan. I only started gaming after the PS2 came out. It took me a while to warm up to the idea of playing Lara, and my first experience, AoD, was disappointing, and I never finished the game. Still, I heard good things about Legend, and thought I'd give it a try. It was smoother and the controls were easier to manage, but I was distracted by other things and let it lie around for a while. When Anniversary appeared and everyone raved about it, I gave that a go. Anniversary was, needless to say, very challenging (at least for me), but when I finished it I went back to Legend to take advantage of my momentum. So Anniversary is the only game I can compare Legend to.

For all of Anniversary's accomplishments, I have to ... Read More:

all i can say is WOW! the first time i played the game i was astonished how complicated it was but if you go through the naval academy it is easier. Its about time they produced a decent strategy game. This is the one. It is easy to complete the first time round but as the difficulty level gets harder it is very challenging.

The specialised levels for ships planes and subs are difficult because the stuff you use is rubbish. The specialised levels can only be played as japs and the campain can only be used as an americans.

I have been a fan of Tomb Raider for years although I never really thought the original was that good due to the bad controls and camera and then playing the Gamecube TR:Legend which I thought was one of the best TR games around, and this is just like it in every aspect. The controls are excellent and feel good, the camera angles are very good and the graphics are very good. I think the gameplay is excellent, there is loads of puzzles to do and items to find and enemies to kill. Different levels of difficulty also make the game very intersting too. This has got to be in my opinion one of the best tomb raiders around, and this is the first tomb raider modified for the 360 with new stuff in it.

This game is magnificent. Everything about it spells ingenuity, attention to detail and imagination. The multiplayer mode can be superfluous fun, the adaptive difficulty always presents you with a new challenge and the vast amounts of unlockable content means that there is here a nearly endless source of replayability.
Many people have said that there is a problem with graphics cards not being able to support pixel shader. Well, a program called 3d Analyze will simulate this and many other graphical features that your card is incapable of handling (however, is you simulate too much the game will be very slow, as your C.P.U. is having to do more work). Download the program from this adress: 'http://download-free.programas-gratis.net/php/download.php?id_programa=675 &software ... Read More:

This is the master of every single football manager game. No doubt about that. Apart from maybe some of the transfer prices this is a very realistic game, especially the socres. Forget Football Manager, this is the best, EVER!! I will agree the later Championship Manager games hav been dissapointing, but this stands out from every otha game. A must buy for all fans of Football.
