Video Games : Alvin and the Chipmunks (Nintendo DS)
I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter at the weekend for £30 and am extremely disapointed. There is only one game to play on it which involves catching records that drop at different speeds to one of the annoying tunes the chipmunks sing to. Once you have finished 'singing' at one stadium, you move on to the next, but the game is exactly the same. There is no 'brain work' involved whatsover, and my little girl is really upset that her £30 voucher she was given for Christmas has been wasted on this. Not to be recommended!

Video Games : TimeSplitters 2 (PS2)
Right from TS1 i got hooked to this series and with TS1 looking so great, TS2 was sure to make a big entrance. With lots of characters, weapons and many other things, this game is sure to please.

My fondest moments of this game is the challenge mode which is all about monkeys. Very amusing. Not only is this game good but it is also funny which sets it apart from other shooters such as its rival, the Halo series.

I strongly recommend this game to anyone who has a PS2 or PS3 as it is really great. The only dissapointing thing is that it doesn't do character animations when you select a character but it fully makes up for that in different areas. A great sequel to TS1. I think is slightly better that Future Perfect and ... Read More:

Having recently finished (and reviewed) The Angel of Darkness, I was hoping for bigger and better with Legend. My first impressions were indeed very favourable. I'm lucky enough to own a cutting-edge Vista PC on which I can crank up the game's display options to their maximum. There is a real wow moment the first time you see Lara standing on that cliff edge! Then I tried to run towards the bridge, only to see Lara go into lemming mode and slip over the edge, hanging by her fingertips! Why on earth did they change the perfectly good and intuitive up-down-left-right control system from TR's previous versions for this confusing system that depends on the cameras's position in relation to our heroine? It gets worse later on, when Lara has to swim ... Read More:

54.Hitman: Blood Money (PC DVD) from: Eidos

Fans of stealth-em-ups sit up and take note. I've played a few of the Hitman series and was never really convinced by them. This one is different. It's a genuinely huge leap forward and compulsively playable as a result.

The freedom of approach has to be the main draw of a game like this. Want to pop a cap in your target's proverbial posterior? Fine. Prefer to sneak up and quietly stick a knife in him? Go ahead. You can even just stand there and have a good old fashioned shoot out if you want (sometimes at least!). But, as other reviews have suggested, that's not what this game is best at.

A gem of a game, admittedly not without its faults but they don't merit dropping a star. Buy, play and enjoy.

After playing this game a couple of times one thing that gets really annoying about it is the choice of Avatars you have to make to represent yourself. The game would be better off without them as they are only an annoyance after a few minutes, making the game seem childish.
One big difference from the TV game is that you don't seem to have the option of taking the cash at a certain level - it keeps going till you get knocked out. The Avatars are the only real gripe with this game though

Video Games : Conflict Vietnam (PS2)
This has got to be one of my favourite games ever for the PS2. It has so many brilliant features, but let's not kid ourselves it is the squad based play that makes this game brilliant.

Sneaking up on a Vietcong checkpoint, Using your Sniper as scout you find the targets. You carefully move the rest of the squad up, taking care to stay in the cover of the swamp. When all the men are in position you move to the front, your the squad leader, you have to go first. You watch the targets walk back and forth through the binoculars and you assign the targets to your men. Cycle through each soldier make sure they have enough ammo. After the last check, its in God's hands as you give the weapons hot order and unleash your squad on the unsuspecting sentinals.

I think that Futurama is a VERY enjoyable game, it does have its flaws such as somtimes the camera angle won't move to where you want it, but overall I think this is a very good game. Definately worth 4 stars!

This game is much like the PC version and I love it for that. It is a little frustrating that the character starts off moving so slow but if this frustrates you this can be the first upgrades you make.

The game is played using the stylus.

It starts off simple and then becomes alot more challenging as the game goes on. it is a fun game, with bright graphics and freedom to make upgrades in which ever order you wish.

I would definately reccomend this game.

Video Games : Hitman: Contracts (PS2)
This a favorite of mine because it is the first Hitman game to use improvised weapons and with its updated disguise system a sure fire for stealth game enthusiasts. This is a vast inprovement on the first game and better than the second. The sniper system is fantastic a great tool to use on the game and better still because this is basically a remake of the first Hitman i recommend it. For those Hitman fans out there it is a fantastic game but buy its sequel and prepare to be amazed.
