Potentially a very good driving game, however the physics are sometimes frankly bizzare and the ai is practically non existant, I'd even go as far as to say it has a.s. (artificial stupidity). Go and but Gran Tourismo instead!

lets just start with the problems of this game, like most team based games there are tooooo many buttons to handle, but after a while, you'll find that you only need about three of the command buttons, and once you've sorted the controls to suit you (strangely it suits a fps type controller) your away and the game just goes from strength to strength. the graphics may be a little dated, but tbh i was having too much fun to care, its a seriously addictive game, and joining different clans and doing different missions gives it a boost to replay value. The tornament mode is a defining point in the game and you can just stay there working through the ranks to become the king of the jungle, factory or coloseum. you can spend hours fighting ... The single player game is really very good. It has a very engaging storyline and will take about 11-12 hours to complete. However, the real fun in this game is in multiplayer. In multiplayer you don't just get pitched in random battles against random people, you create a character which starts off as a humble being in a massive world of bigger, scarier and far wealthier people. You can be a trader, or just fight your way to the top. Need some help? Join a clan, heck, you can even start a clan, if you can group together some friends and give yourself a name, then you won't stop playing for months if not years. Well I didn't have a N64 so I can only comment on the XboX game. I thought the game was really fun, completely different from anything I had played before. The story line is great. Basicaly the king (a panther) needs a prop for his stool which has one broken leg. For this task he focuses his effort on capturing Conker (you, the squirrel) as he is the perfect height for the stool; that way he can place his glass of milk on the stool without spilling it. As you can see it is a crazy story line but with some great humour. There are loads of games within the game which you have to solve in order to progress. I bought this after playing Starcraft (one of the all time best RTS games around). I loaded up the AOE1 and hated it instantly. The interface and graphics were poor when compared to SC. I did the first campaign then loaded AOE2 to see if that was any better. And what a difference!!! All the irritating interface problems have gone away and the graphics are superb. The campaigns are not as good as in SC but the game play is. It has a strong online multiplayer community in which the game comes into its own. The recorded games feature is cool. The Conquerors expansion set makes it even better. My recommendation is not to buy the Collectors edition but just get the Age of Kings and The Conquerors expansion set instead.

I can not wait for this game. Not only has it got amazing graphics and setting it is also by the same creators of max payne!!

I simply had to write a review of this game as it is quite simply perfect. As im sure your aware this game came out some time ago and it's graphics still put pretty much every racing game to shame. I dont know about you but one thing which really bugs me with most racing games is while the graphics on the car's body are fantastic the wheels are pretty much every time 2D looking whereas in rsc2 there so 3D it adds immensely to the feel of the game, this may sound odd but it has to be seen to be believed. On a slightly more sane note the amount of tracks is superb and for a change the makers have injected some much needed glamour into this racing game with fantastic locations like monte-carlo, the most classic of all rally events ignored by almost every racing ...
