This is one of the only games i have ever played through to the very end. It's true that for hard core gamers it probably wont take you too long to finish the game but its worth it for the journey!. There are lots of nice touches in this game e.g. the way Luigi whistles the theme tune! and the graphics are great(even when played on a Wii). The gameplay is simple enough once you get the hang of it and becomes a little harder against the 'portrait' ghosts where you have to think a bit more about when to attack. Make sure your controller will stand up to all the yellow C stick action as you suck those ghosts in!.

If you read the review below you'll see i'm not the only person who still enjoys playing Banjo Kazooie even now nearly 10 years after is release on the N64! What a wonderful master stroke of pure gaming fun from Rare (who at the time were partners with Nintendo).
From the moment the music starts you know you're in for a whole lot of fun! What I really love about BK is the sense of getting 'lost in the game'! Quite often i've still been playing it at 2 in the morning without realising the time and then waking up to the fact that i'm not really flying round Freezezey Peak or dive-bombing snowmen in Click Clock Wood!! Back to the game though, the controls are spot on. The music is genius. The gameplay is amazing and the actual atmosphere of the game is just so ... Read More:

I'm surprised that more people havent rated this game? it was very popular at the time and seems to be hard to come by second hand now that people know they can play Gamecube games on the Wii.

Ok so where do we start...ive bought this game (again) after getting my Wii as sometimes you just want a bit of retro gaming! saying that this game holds up quite well on the graphics side of things. The game is an adventure with typical puzzles e.g. setting the time on a clock. The different concept is the 'Santity meter'. As your santity drops (as you see strange things and monsters and such like) the game play changes. As the characters santity drops the character starts to see things like statues moving to watch you around the room and as it drops even further stranger ... Read More:

Despite being a huge fan of the remake version for the gamecube, I felt I had to add this to my DS collection. I think the DS version is a well refreshed version of a classic game. I quite liked the rebirth mode in this game, being faced with a load of zomies armed with just your knife can be a bit daunting at first but easy once you get the hang of it. The best feature of this game has got to be the fact you can skip the door opening sequences saving time and preventing impatience. The map being constanly available at on the top screen was also a welcome addition as seeing where you have and haven't been is so much easier. Although once you have the infinite rocket launcher quite a few of the rooms become unnessecary to visit. This game gets five stars from me because it is ... Read More:

I have had this for a while and really haven't bothered with it too much, why?
If I had seen past the overhyped reviews I would have seen a game that has, very few save points that have to be traipsed back to time and time again, respawning enemies the minute you leave/re-enter a room, combine this with the lack of save points and it's a nightmare to save your game should you just want to switch it off,the developers obviously thought you wouldn't want to do anything else!
You have to scan everything by changing visors constantly back and forth, why it wasn't passive is beyond me,and you can get lost quite easily as you flitter to and fro doing one of the above.
In it's defense, the controls are very good, the graphics are crisp and solid and it's all very slick but the flaws ... Read More:
