Video Games : SoulCalibur II (GameCube)
This has got to be the best game ever! With Link as a special character it livens things up. I find the new combos really good to damage and destroy your oppenent with. The weopons and unlockable characters are ace! The game delivers a challenge aswell with the difficulty levels but don't let that stop you! You have got the same acarde mode but when you have completed that you have an extra arcade mode aswell which lets you choose your weopons! I better not say anymore otherwise I'll spoil it! If you like fighting 1 on 1 and beating the hell out of your oppenents then this is the game for you! Fantastic is all I can say!

Video Games : Luigi's Mansion (Players' Choice GameCube)
This is one of the only games i have ever played through to the very end. It's true that for hard core gamers it probably wont take you too long to finish the game but its worth it for the journey!. There are lots of nice touches in this game e.g. the way Luigi whistles the theme tune! and the graphics are great(even when played on a Wii). The gameplay is simple enough once you get the hang of it and becomes a little harder against the 'portrait' ghosts where you have to think a bit more about when to attack. Make sure your controller will stand up to all the yellow C stick action as you suck those ghosts in!.

193.Metroid: Zero Mission from: Nintendo

Video Games : Metroid: Zero Mission
This is an superb re-make of the original Metroid on the NES.
With the new Metroid games making their debuts on the Gamecube, and also Metroid Fusion on the GBA, it probably only seemed logic for Nintendo to go back to the roots of the whole concept and modernise it fully in order to make the rest of the Metroid story we know today more solid. This game seems to do just that.

If you're a die-hard Metroid fan you've probably already got this game, if you've never come across the game before, this is still damn good fun to play even if you're just looking for a decent 2D platformer for your GBA, and well worth buying.

I own the original Metroid on the NES, and it was such a great game at the time, and hence leading onto the release ... Read More:

194.Mario Tennis from: Nintendo

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Mario Tennis
I have owned most consoles released (sega/Sony/nintendo), but the only console that my mates beg me to keep down for late night beer filled gaming sessions is my N64. The main games played are Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64 and Killer instinct Gold but Mario Tennis Is first in the list. In single player mode it is very very entertaining; but in multiplayer this game comes into it's own. Up to 4 players (2 on each team in doubles) The control system is not limited and you can blast or chip the ball exactly where you aim on court. This game is great it sucks you in straight away and dosent let you go.

195.The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (GBC) from: Nintendo
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (GBC)
Zelda: Links Awakening, is an excellent game considering the year the original was made and the DX version adds a lot of missed qualities than in the Game Boy version.

It was the first GB game which I got(5-6 years ago!) and to this day I still play on it!!!
Set in Koholint Island(Slightly different to most of the more recent games as they are set in Hyrule), a mysterious world full of beasts and it is a world where anything can happen.
Soon you have to find special instruments in order to get off the island and return to reality.

Overall a great game and it lasts a lifetime almost literally and recommended to all Zelda fans if you like the kind of graphics found in Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages and A Link to the Past.

Video Games : The Legend of Zelda (Nes Classics GBA)
Why Nintendo decided to resurrect this as a "NES classic" is beyond me. Actually it isn't - it enabled them to make money without expending any effort, which seems to have become a speciality of theirs in the handheld gaiming market of late - but it is true to say that this does not show them at the peak of their game.
Firstly, though, I must give the game its fair dues. It was revolutionary in its time and laid the foundation for perhaps the greatest gaiming series of all time (the relative shoddiness of some recent instalments notwithstanding), with - in "Link to the Past" and "Ocarina" - arguably the two best games ever.
Yet, judged on its own merit, this is disappointing stuff. It's hard to work out what you have to do next - though this isn't really ... Read More:

Video Games : Mario Power Tennis (GameCube)
Being a big fan of the original on the N64 i would have expected this to be amazing. Oh how i was wrong. The game is TERRIBLY slow. Character movement is sluggish at best and shot placement is non-existent. No matter how hard you try your character will tap the ball very slowly down the centre of the court and unless you're playing against a human player with awful reactions you will NEVER see an ace. Now the power shots... Had this been a quick paced game they might have got away with this ridiculous idea but they just prolong the agony of being stuck in a awful match you can't wait to finish. Amimations are stupidly long and just when you think you've won the last thing you want to see is the opposition SWIM down the court and hit the ball back and basically start the game again. TERRIBLE! ... Read More:
