Video Games : F-Zero GX (GameCube)
The Frist time I played F-zero GX, I found it ridiculously hard, especially the story mode. That may be a downside, but it consistantly makes you want to try harder and get past whatever obsticle your having trouble with. As soon as you are able to race well and know things such as snaking, the game becomes amazing. The game simply allows the player to accelerate at high speeds and zoom through any winding, dangerous track you play on. If you have ever found the F-Zero X controls difficult, do not worry about these controls. They are simple, easy and make the game more realistic.

Unlocking the F-Zero AX pilots is hard, but a great challenge along with all the other secrets in this game. Story mode is VERY difficult for beginners ... Read More:

Video Games : Actionloop with Rumble Pak (Nintendo DS)
This is an easy game to play but is totally addictive. As you play look up occasionally and watch your life go by. It will take you over. Some of the levels are easy(ish) and others hard, but nothing compares with the total satisfaction of getting the last of those little balls into the hole and opening up another level, (despite the fact that it could take you hours to do). This game tests reactions, skill with the stylus and total refusal to give in and do something else. Enjoy!

Video Games : Kirby: Power Paintbrush (Nintendo DS)
A superb game which makes full use of the touchscreen and a real joy to play. A must have for your DS collection. This is one of the best games I have every played - of any style and on any platform.

It is easy to get the controls and there are short tutorials which will help. The difficulty does increase (wait until you get to the boss!) but is never impossible. Do not be fooled by colourful graphics, this is a challenging game with lots of depth and it is not just for kids.

You can always aim to get all the items and play the mini-games but sadly, this is a short game and this is the only real negative. Other niggles include the top screen which doesn't display a lot of info but this is a really fun game to play. Do not let ... Read More:

Wing Island (Wii)
First of all, what Wing Island is not!, it's not a shoot em up, it's not a microsoft flight sim where you learn to fly realistically, including all the tedious training and hours of learning all the intricate flight controls.

What Wing Island IS it's pure and simple fun, easy to learn, relaxing, when it's pouring rain and generaly miserable outside, you are flying in beautiful weather, blue skys!, you can just buzz around free as a bird - or you can play in strory mode and accept missions, and if you want to you can challange your family and friends to head to head challanges, so there you have it, simple controls and relaxing fun,

Video Games : Wave Race: Blue Storm
WAVE RACE BLUE STORM SPLASHES DOWN ON GAMECUBE. IS IT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL OR, LIKE MANY CONVERSIONS, A QUICK GRAPHICALLY ENHANCED REHASH?
Despite being one of the launch titles for the Nintendo 64, Wave Race 64 remained one of the consoles most innovative and graphically astonishing games. It's water effects were like nothing seen before and the game provided a refreshing change from all the endless driving titles out there. Well, if you thought the graphics in WR64 were good - you ain't seen nothing yet!
Those of you are not familiar with the WR format; WRBS is a jet-ski racing game where, like in any other racing game, your objective is to beat your opponents round various circuits. But racing on water means every race is different due to the unpredictability ... Read More:

267.Nintendo DS Console (Silver) from: Nintendo

Video Games : Nintendo DS Console (Silver)
I love the NDS! I have both a DS and a PSP and I must say I far prefer the DS. The console itself is easy to hold and fits snugly into your pocket. The 'book' shape of it also means you don't have to worry about scratching the screen, which I find reasuring. There are many great games for the DS, including Zelda, Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros, all AAA titles. For casual gamers this is perfect as well, eg Nintendogs and Dr Kawashima's Brain Trainig.

Video Games : Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - Includes Bongos (GameCube)
This game is great. The bongos make the game much funner and more interactive than your typical platformer, I would recommend this to anyone who like platform games with a zing.

Video Games : Tales of Symphonia (GameCube)
I asked for this game for christmas just after it came out, having seen an advert for it. It looked decent enough, and though I was more excited about Namco's other RPG, Baten Kaitos, at the time, I decided to give it a try.
In terms of gaming, I have never made a better choice.
There're so many aspects of this game to speak about, it's hard to know where to begin.
Graphics - beautiful. A sort of chibi-esque anime style that gives both a sense of beauty yet cuteness to the game.
Music - If you're not so absorbed by what's going on, beautifully matched to the tone at the time. And in this section I shall also include voice acting. Because in this game it's flawless.
The control system of ToS is easy to use, allowing you ease of control of each of the 9 playable ... Read More:

270.Super Mario Bros (Nes Classics GBA) from: Nintendo

Video Games : Super Mario Bros (Nes Classics GBA)
This should be an essential game for your Gameboy, but more appreciated by those who played it during their childhood, like me. It poses some fantastic challenges and very cleverly worked enemy placements, so that when you go to jump somewhere, their will always be something in your way! Such little challenges appear in and out, but the real sense of achievement is at World 8-1, the last world.

For those who suggest you cannot save/continue, they obviously haven't been playing long enough to remember 2 old cheats :)

On the title screen, hold down 'B' and press Start. Bob's your Uncle, it magically starts off from the beginning of the last world you were in! (ie 4-1, 6-1)

If you don't want to use this, use the Warp Cheat - on World 1-2, at the end of the ... Read More:
