on the cover of the game i have it says '92% the best sonic game ever' A COMPLETE LIE!!! as im sure a lot of you know as soon as sonic entered 3D the friendly blue hedgehog went (sadly) downhill but when i saw this game i thought yes finally a sonic game that looks great and is in 2D. i was wrong :( ok so the game does have good sides for instance it's just as fast paced as the origanal sonic that we all know and love and you can play as blaze the cat (ok so not really a reason to buy the game but a nice touch). the bosses are good as well but the entire game lacks that spark that all the other games had. the game doesnt have a lot of gameplay in it either compared to some of the mario games on the market ... My husband got this game for my son to play (3 1/2) with my help while in hospital- it has totally exceeded my expectations! It is simple enough for him to play on his own (with a very occasional bit of assistance on a tricky bit!) and has 5 different mysteries so they don't get bored of the same storyline all the time. Intersting places to go, yes there are a few graphics glitches in teh gameplay and the apsect takes a bit of getting used to but it is superb value for money as he still hasn't finished it even 4 weeks later!

I think i'll run down through the major points of the game to make it easier, as there is a fair bit to explain... Graphics: As would be expected with the DS, the graphics aren't great compared to any other platforms. However, compared to other ds games they aren't bad. It is quite pixelated, but pretty much as you would expect from this console. Gameplay: Quite good really. You use the stylus to aim, which is very easy, and you can change the control settings to be more suitable for lefties if you want. The game is in thir person view, which is quite qell done. i found this to be an amazing game although a little trick and frustrating at the beggining with trying to get my first puppy to remember her name i finally mastered it and now love the game i would recommend it to all especially kids because it is great fun to play and is very much like having a real dog

I was looking forward to this game as I love star wars, I it is great fun and a lot of the levels are great and well designed. However the return of the jedi levels are dire, the endor one being almost unplayable, I lost count the amount of time han fell off a log on a jump he just couldnt do, with the second characher behind unable to keep up. Also characters disappear or te camera angle changes so wildly you just cant see whats happening. That said, if you love star wars you will get a kick out of this, the bad levels aside, there are a lot of other great levels with many things to unlock.If you are not a stars wars fan or have little patience, stay away!
