121.Cluedo from: Avanquest Software
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Cluedo
I am not one for computer games as I have no patience, but I bought this game as I remember playing the board game.
I have now become addicted to it, but I did have a few frustrating problems with the game at first as it would hang/freeze and I ended up closing the game not knowing who dunnit!
If this happens to you, download the patch from the makers www.gsp.cc and since doing so I have no problems and can spend hours playing.

Video Games : EyeToy: Play (Camera Not Included) (PS2)
As the title of the game suggests, you will require a Sony Playstation 2 Eyetoy Camera to play this. It also needs to be set up where there's plenty of light and space.

In this game, you do not control things using the PS2 control pad, but with your body, which you can see on the screen! You start off navigating through the menu by making your hands touch the on-screen buttons. It is much more preferable to tapping away at buttons all the time.

There are many games to play, which include kung-fu, plate-spinning and window cleaning. Whether it's using your fists to box against your on-screen rivals or bouncing balls on your head, all that moving about can wear you out! Of course, you don't have to use the body parts ... Read More:

124.Penumbra Overture: Episode One (PC CD) from: Lexicon
March 30, 2007
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Penumbra Overture: Episode One (PC CD)
Firstly, despite the viewpoint this game is NOT an FPS. The combat is terrible and there are no guns.
Therefore if this is what you are looking for go elsewhere.

However if you are after one of the tensest, most unnerving games ever you are in for a treat.
The graphics and lighting effects are superb building the atmosphere of the deserted mining operation.
The story itself is told through a series of letters and notes, there are no real cutscenes to ruin the atmosphere, with a mysterious 'friend' guiding you through the mine.
Once again the sound effects and music are generally unsettling, try playing with earphones on in a darkened room. The voice acting, what little there is, is well done and aids to the tone.

I was very disapointed in this game, as as first when i installed it,
it then asked me to place in a serial key and this was not supplied by the manufacturer.
I had to go up on the internet to get a key to make it work.
Once I had it working my joystick would not respond in the game. there fore I had to use the keyboard which is not as good for game play. The actual game is a good game but with the problems I encountered it really put me off, I think the joystick problem could be sorted to be fair.
But the Instalation problem was a nightmare.
be warned if you by this game.

My daughter is now 5 years old and has been playing and enjoying this game for a year. The game does not let Dora character 'die' in any level. It is colourful, fun and interactive with many different levels of the same style but with different activities. Fantastic buy! We need more like it.
