I don't actually own this game, my son has it installed on his comp and I found myself playing it at some point.

There's no way to be objective about this game without using overtly profane language.

So I'll try to start with the games good points. It took me an excruciating period of time to realise there was only 1.

"It had some pretty pictures". And, to tell the truth, even that only went to a point. The locations were stunning, as they tend to be in games such as this, and while the main characters were very pretty (but wouldn't they be?) most of the other characters seemed to be very disproportionate (anatomically) and cartoony, even if their roles weren't meant to be comical.

Video Games : Dancing Stage SuperNOVA (PS2)
This is the worst dancing stage game I ever played. The stellar mode is so bad, it makes us do incredibly stupid things to unlock songs, like "dance with GUS and get full combo", i.e. you need to keep on playing to find that particular character. How ridiculous. Absolutely pointless, and very annoying.

Video Games : Dancing Stage MegaMix (PS2)
I can remember hearing a lot of hype going around my school, mostly from girls about this game. At that time I didn't know anything about this and just thought it was another stupid girlie game. But then I went round my mates and his sister happened to have dancing stage: euro mix. I asked him about it and he said that he didn't know too much about it. So we plugged the mat to the ps2 and loaded in the game. I was INSTANTLY HOOKED!! The game was a masterpiece and about a couple of days after that I bought Dancing Stage: Megamix. The hype was on so when I first played it I can remember going on it for 5 hours without stopping, the game was brilliant. It needed no explanation. The game was fluid there were a lot of modes to try, a lot of extras you could add ... Read More:

This comes across as a cynical, half-finished attempt to cash in on the success of the TV series. While the story is as good as anything on the series, the execution, other than the voice acting, is very poor.

The graphics are dismal for the age of the game - pre-rendered low-quality backdrops, and superimposed characters that do little more than blink expressionlessly and move their lips. Glitches abound. On a few occasions the characters were completely obscured by large white rectangles, and the screen suffered from tearing when panning. To further hinder the illusion of involvement, one often has to wait for an animation sequence to finish before the mouse cursor becomes active. Clicking three or four times on something before the selection is ... Read More:

Video Games : Dancing Stage Party Edition
firstly, the workout mode is the most fun as you can just keep going without having to push a button to replay or skip to the next level. secondly, and this is my MAIN point, unless you are playing this game on the GROUND FLOOR, please be very careful about not upsetting the neighbours underneath ur floor (their ceiling) as they may hear ur stomping as ur playing and this can be very annoying to them, especially if they're trying to sleep. my advice is to either play the game when you know they'll be OUT or talk with them to arrange a suitable time when you can play. i'm not trying to be a killjoy, it's a great game (rated it 5 stars) and i hope you have a really nice time playing it but PLEASE be courteous to your neighbours, especially the ones living underneath, ... In the context of all gaming, this is a three star game. In the context of other point and clickers that have come out recently, it is decidedly four star.

For starters, many of these games neglect graphics; happily, this is not the case with Rhodan. The anti-aliasing and texture options make it playable on older computers, and quite stunning on newer ones. A major part of creating the world a point and click gamer wants to be part of is making it realistic and immersive, and Rhodan certainly accomplishes this. Aurally, the music is apt, the voice acting is (mostly) believable and the sound effects are appropriate - they didn't just take random noises from the sound bank.

In a game of this type, certain things must be just so: The storyline, ... Read More:

If this is the world's best solitaire, I dread to think what the worst is like.

Here are a few of the things I don't like about this suite of games:

(1) The 3D option is very difficult to use - there is no "snap to", so you have to judge exactly where to drop the card to make it stay in position. I quickly gave up.
(2) The 2D option is better, but you can't set Preferences to say that this is what you like, so you have to reset to 2D every time you start up the application.
(3) The application takes over the whole screen, including the task bar, and there is no resize button, so the only way to park the application temporarily is by minimizing it.
(4) If you need to look at the rules during a game, you can get them via the Help ... Read More:

80.Wipeout Fusion from: Sony Computer Entertainment UK

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Wipeout Fusion
Ok, so upon loading up Wipeout Fusion (having played all the other Wipeout games) you think to yourself I hope this one's gonna be amazing. Then you start playing it and it seems really different to Wipeout 3 or 2097, so you're disappointed. You try it a few times but can't get to grips with the ships, the music or the racing, so you give up on it right...? Wrong!
The second time I tried to get into this game I was hooked, I can't go back to playing the old games now because they are so outdated compared to this one. The graphics are beautiful, the levels are amazing and the fun factor is immense. The AI ships are so much more competitive in this release that it adds a whole new level to the game. Racing becomes a real battle, not only for 1st place but for survival. ... Read More:
