Having bought this game, I can say that I was very impressed overall, despite that gameplay can get repetitive. I initially wanted to get the PS3 version but yet again I was put off getting the PS3 console due to more horror stories about overheating etc.
But I was pleasantly surprised to see that the PS2 version is a great quality game (I feared that due to the fact that the PS2 is practically dead now, this was going to be half a game, so to speak).
The story itself was fantastic and really felt that I was part of a star wars movie. I was also happy to see some of my favourite star wars characters either in the main game or as unlockable characters later on, like Emperor Palpatine (who I think is MILES better than Darth Vader as ... The story mode is kind of weird but after an hour or two, you get used to it. It is very different to other sonic games as its multiplayer mode can take up to four people and the mini games are much more competitive.

WOW! Simply... wow. This is one heck of an addicive game. I've never been as hooked up on a game as this one. I simply can't stop playing.

Its fast, fun, and action-packed!

And you can now re-live ALL the star Wars, from the classics, till the new ones.

Simply irresistible! Oh! And its for the whole family, and if its a bit difficult for the smallest, team up; the coop-mode is excellent. Two players at the same time - no split-screen.

Fantastic game and great fun! If you're a Star Wars fan you'll love it! If you're not a Star Wars fan, you'll love the game! This was my first intro to the "Lego" games and I found that I can pick it up and play it for any amount a time - a few minutes or a few hours! It's simple yet there is so much to do and explore! The sounds are brilliant and really immerse you into the Star Wars universe! It's refreshing to find a game that doesn't involve killing/dieing and violence, but uses humourous dictations of these (i.e. lego characters regenerating)! Looking fwd to Indiana Jones, Batman & hopefully many more?! :)

Twenty five quid is a lot of money so i can understand why some people feel let down by the slow pace of this game, especially considering it holds the sonic brand. I suggest before purchasing a game you do your research a bit more thoroughly. This is a great game and its not its fault if YOU don't like RPG's. This is a slow paced RPG game made by Bioware. Anyone could tell you that Bioware are known for their RPG games so why do some people still expect a standard sonic platforming romp.

Yes this game is slow paced but it also has a great plot, the same sonic characters we know and love and is generally a very involving and deep experience. It reminds you why Baldur's gate is such a classic game. Because it had Bioware behind it all the way. ... Read More:
