Video Games : FIFA 06 (GBA)
This game is probably the best of a bad (and limited) bunch of football simulation games available on GBA.

Graphics are generally good and smooth, and the game plays and is responsive to your movements on the thumbpad. You can also choose any team to play as throughout the professional divisions within England and Europe.

You can also save the game which is of course pretty vital when doing a season.

Downside is that it is way too easy - I am no expert at these types of games and yet I was thrashing Man U and Real Madrid on world class level by my third day.

In addition, it would have been nice to have some sort of transfer feature as playing with the same players for season after season does get a ... Read More:

Video Games : Trollz: Hair Affair (GBA)
this game is really quite dull,it features about 5 different mini-games throughout the game, which increase in difficulty.there really is no objective and despite the game trying to convey a story, there really isnt one, just long dialogues of the trollz and then a mini games start, really quite painful.if u want a game consisting of mini games then try mario party advance or warioware inc.you really don't want to waste money on this, not even my girl, whos a big fan of trollz, enjoyed this!

Video Games : Gunstar Future Heroes (GBA)
What is wrong with the world? Treasure, the undisputed masters of 2D, spend three years developing an enhanced remake of one of their very best shoot-'em-ups, and nobody's talking about it. It's next to impossible to find in the shops. It's on a format most people have consigned to the dustiest shelf in the spare room.

You've got to ask yourself - am I any kind of gamer at all? Because if you are, then it's your duty not to let this beautifully crafted labour of love slip into obscurity.

It's a spectacular blast through levels that rarely take more than a couple of minutes each. One moment you'll be jumping and shooting in a traditional platform style; the next, you'll be standing ... Read More:

116.Beyblade (GBA) from: Atari

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Beyblade (GBA)
I found out the controls and got into the game quickly. When I first played it I thought of the game, 'Marble Madness' from the NES. The gameplay is similar, as you playing as the BladeBreakers in different rounds, controlling the beyblade around a platform course, which seems like it is floating in the sky. This game is a bit tricky at first, as you have to avoid falling of the platform and starting the round again, also losing the spin of the blade.

The game is set in episodes from the tv series where you battle, or more, move the beyblade around a course collecting new items to add to your collection. It is basically staring at a point then along your way you collect the items and battle enemy beyblades and beat them by either bashing ... Read More:

My son Josh (aged 7 3/4) and I (a bit older) both love this game. Josh even prefers it to Pokemon currently which is saying something. I bought the game just before Christmas, and since Josh appropriated it from me, most of his Christmas presents haven't had much of a look in yet (Santa will not be happy!).

The battles are the main element of the game. The battles can be quite challenging to win without losing any of your team. You really do get to care about your team so we often find ourselves repeating a chapter several times (or more) to avoid losing anyone.

You act as the strategist for the team. To be successful you have to select the right team for each chapter and then use them as a team exploiting the strengths of ... Read More:

Admittedly turning a cartoon into a game can't be easy but this is a mess. Looks like a game boy colour game whith it's doddgy side scrolling graphics. Then I remember such games as Sonic, Mario and WWF road to wrestlemania ( all are great games) so I played on. But the poorly animated Eliza(main character) puts you off and you don't really feel part of the game. Even though it could of been good the short story is the last straw and this will only suit younger gamers.

Video Games : Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (GBA)
I bought this game last year and played in on my Nintendo DS lite, and I just want to comment on the "darkness" issue that many reviews of this game mention. This Castlevania was one of the first releases on the GBA. The old-style GBA didn't have a very good screen, and Castlevania looked very dark, making it difficult to play in a normal lighted room. The screens on the Game Boy Micro and Nintendo DS are much, much better and there is *absolutely no problem* with the darkness of the screen.

The game itself is excellent and well worth picking up. The difficulty was just right for me: not too easy and not too difficult, although it helps to find the most useful of the cards to make things easier (especially the final battle). Check out www.gamefaqs.com ... Read More:
