Video Games : Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (GBA)
The graphics in this game are very good - and the animation of the skaters is so good they look positively human in their movements (in fact I'm sure the original graphics must have been drawn around actual footage of real figures - no animator can capture human movement this well).

I want to like this game - I *really* do. But the problem is that I can't. It takes so long to learn how to do all the tricks and moves, and then to try and remember them, unless you've got all the spare time in the world to burn, the techniques just take too long to learn. It isn't something that you can pick up in 5 minutes each day either - you need to spend long sessions training.

I just don't have the time for this, and is it worth the ... Read More:

Video Games : Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA)
When rare started to make a dk country triligy back in the early 90's it had such state of the art graphics and excelent gameplay that donkey kong country was the game every one wanted, infact i remember the day i spent my £54.99 getting the first game but the sequals cant match the original can they?.

With each sequal of the country series the games got better, unforchantly by the time dkc3 came out so had the n64 and ps1 so not many people got to play the game, i got it on my snes about a year ago and i rate it higher than any other 2d platformer. the world is massive there is probably about 60-70 levels set in such locations as woodlands, mountains, volcanos, snow areas etc. Each area of levels has its own theme like the mountain levels ... I spent ages looking for a suitable easy and educational Gameboy Advance game for my son but was disappointed over and over. However the Koala Brothers GBA game is just right. It consists of mini games like fishing, hide and seek, catching post etc. The controls are simple and I only need to explain the instructions once to my son and then he was able to play by himself. To date he has been unable to master platform games but these mini games are simplistic and fun to play. Admittedly he won't play this game for as long as some others and he game of preference is still Mario Kart but Koala Brothers is a great introduction to Gameboy games and makes an easier transition from the Vtech Vsmile games that my son played before. I would definately recommend ... Read More:

184.Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Of The Duelist - World Championship Tournament 2005 (GBA) from: Konami

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Of The Duelist - World Championship Tournament 2005 (GBA)
This was the first yu-gi-oh game I bought.
For a gameboy game the graphic are fairly good.
The game play once you read the manual is great and addictive.
Dueling is fairly easy once you get the hang of the controls.
It has all the characters from the TV show and extras.
You can create your own decks with the basic starter packs i.e. Yugi, Seto and Joey plus other booster packs you can buy in the game.
If you enjoy wandering around gaining experience to buy new cards, entering dueling competitions and basically dueling characters then this is the game for you.

this game is really quite dull,it features about 5 different mini-games throughout the game, which increase in difficulty.there really is no objective and despite the game trying to convey a story, there really isnt one, just long dialogues of the trollz and then a mini games start, really quite painful.if u want a game consisting of mini games then try mario party advance or warioware inc.you really don't want to waste money on this, not even my girl, whos a big fan of trollz, enjoyed this!

I just want to make sure everyone knows that, unlike what the last reviewer mentioned, the DKC series DID NOT make use of the SuperFX chip. All the graphics were pre-rendered before being put into the game, and the fact the DKC games don't use the SuperFX chip is simply confirmed by comparing the connectors in the underside of the orginal snes cartridges with a snes game that did use the FX chip, such as Yoshi's Island. However the graphics, gameplay and music is all perfect. I brought this game in 1995 when it first came out, and i still play it to this day, I cannot reccomend it enough.
