Video Games : Spider-Man: The Movie (GBA)
Having only just been given a Game Boy Advance for a present I am new to this whole platform, but I am glad that a solid game like Spiderman was one of my first experiences. Having been gaming for a long time and also being the owner of a PS2 and PC you can definitely say that I will not stomach playing bad games for long, and thankfully Spidey was an enjoyable spin. The graphics on the GBA are excellent for such a small machine and the animation on Spiderman himself surprised me no end. It is basically a platform game, but the added advantage of spidey's climbing skills and web swinging ability raise it above the average fair and create a unique challenge in their own right. The levels are tough enough too, with end of level baddies having ... Read More:

Video Games : Denki Blocks (GBA)
My first impression while playing Denki Blocks was that is was a bit of a kid's game, the first few levels are pretty simple although good fun.

Then, little by little, the puzzles start getting trickier... and trickier... and before you know it, several hours have disappeared while you just try to complete one more puzzle before bed-time.

This is a great game with a fair bit more strategy than Tetris. It really encourages forward planning and creative thinking. There are usually many different ways to the final solution.

As you complete more puzzles, more become unlocked so it will keep you going for quite a while.

I wish all games were as good as this one.

197.James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (GBA) from: Electronic Arts

Video Games : James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (GBA)
Everything or Nothing is an excellent game, but by no means my favourite on the GBA.

The game involves completing a series of objective-based levels using either stealth or gung-ho shootery. Depending on the amount of items you collect and secondary objectives you complete, you can earn points to buy special abilities like satisfying stealth kills and automatic health regeneration. There are also the occasional car chase levels - essentially rolling boss fights - that are exciting and frustrating in equal measure.

The maps are reminiscent of isometric 2D action games like StarCraft and the characters are reasonably well made and animated. The sound effects are nothing to get excited about, but the music sometimes rivals CD quality, ... Read More:

198.Manic Miner from: Digital Jesters
August 09, 2002
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Manic Miner
There will be two kinds of people buying this. One will be kids who have never heard of Manic Miner after a new game and to be honest they are not going to be too impressed when compared to modern titles.

The other will be 20/30 somethings who played it on their Amstrads,Spectrums or Commodore 64's. It plays exactly the same, but has enhanced modern graphics and sounds. You also get extra levels to play through and passwords for every 4 or 5 levels which is very handy!

If reminiscing about Manic Miner brings a tear to your eye, then buy this. 20 years old almost and it's still got that addictive 'one more go' factor. Excellent stuff.

199.FIFA 07 (GBA) from: Electronic Arts

Video Games : FIFA 07 (GBA)
This game is amazing, you can pick loads of teams. There is a tournament and career mode. They have all the teams in the correct position. Each team has the right kit.The only bad thing about it is that some of the players play for the wrong team and that some players have names like 8#8.

200.Medal of Honor Underground (GBA) from: Zoo Digital

Video Games : Medal of Honor Underground (GBA)
This game is of unseen poor quality. The picture is pasty although the scenery is halfway decent, the soldiers unrecognisable and the frame rate is reminiscent of trying to play half life for pc on a 100mhz.
As said above, the sound is the only slightly good thing in this game, but it just isn't revolutionary.
Dont buy because of the brand name. I have the pc version and it's brilliant, but this...
Nightfire is a much better idea!
