I bought the DS version and was instantly addicted and when I received a Wii for christmas i bought it for the wii as well. I thought it was addictive on the DS but its 10 times more addictive on the Wii, so much to do and you get to build stuff and really make the town come back to life with new charectors in the hotel everyday. The only problem was that it ended. Cant they create a never ending My Sims? Highly recommended for all Sims fans at all ages :)

The PSP is really a multimedia player, supporting photos, MP3's and video on it's large screen, as well as a decent internet and games support. The games and UMD's released for it, however, are a joke. I think that Sony should scrap the idea of a UMD based console and re-release it as a games compatable multimedia player, with a faster processor, built in solid state memory (like the ipod has) and a touch screen & stylus. Either way, a good quality multimedia player as it is, at a low price with (now) cheap memory.

I've had this for a few weeks now so have had chance to use it quite a bit before reviewing. I originally picked this particular one as it did look quite stylish and also had good reviews. Here's how I found it... The good points are it's look, the fan operates very quietly - if you have the volume at a reasonable level on your game you probably won't even notice it, the switch to turn the fan and smart looking LED lights off is a nice touch, the cables of the nunchucks can be neatly wrapped up and tucked away behind the nunchuck itself instead of hanging out the front of the unit so it always looks tidy. Personally I found this to be total rubbish, Even after following recipes to the letter I end up with very unsatisfactory results.... runny sauces et al. The speech recognition has to be disabled because when you use it and do anything remotely noisy (like chopping ingredients!!!) it thinks you are speaking and it gets totally confused taking you back through the cooking instructions. This means you have to use the stylus which is hardly ideal when cooking. It was very disappointing given I thought I had found something useful to do with my DS rather than 'training my brain' or zapping aliens.... I would say spend you're money on a good Delia cook book.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Falcon chipsets still havent fixed the RROD error, nor the disc scratching DVD drives. The reason for the price drops is the cost of components dropped and a new updated version of the 360 is being built and should be released some time after Christmas (I hope). My Falcon 360 has now been sent back for repairs for the 2nd time, and has scratched the living hell out of my Oblivion GOTY Edition along with causing another RROD error. The console is also still as noisy as before. If it breaks one more time I'll have to get my Xbox 1 out of the dust once again and claim insurance for the 360. Microsoft better pull out a miracle while they still have the huge amount of consumers. Im close to losing ... Read More:

Maybe I got a dud, but I found this to work fine for a few months, and then it decided to pack in and no longer charge the batteries.
