i really wanted this game, becasue im into war game and FPS's, so i figured, heck now i can take one around with me, alot of stuff surpised me with this game, the graphics were quite good, a d little dodgy sometimes, like explosion and stuff but you get used to it all.
its thourgth out very well, modern story play. and has great audio, amazing sound track, and has voices dubbed on charatcers, with professional voice actors, and the cpu soliders of allies and enemy even randomly say things.
ive had multi player download play, which was exeedingly fun :) even though u can only choose from 2 levels, a friend and i wer on those levels for a good 2 hours.
there are some puzzle in teh story as well, like disarming a bomb and rearming ... Read More:

Easy to play and good fun, this is a good "entry level" game for young players - probably ages 6-9. Our daughter (8) loves it. Easy enough not to be frustrating for young players, but with enough challenge to be satisfying. Very good.

a great way to waste a good 40 hours
though not even comparable in quality to latest installements of this god-like series, FF3 DS is a brilliant remake of a pearl of early RPG making.

the story is almost nonexistant comprising of 4 light warriors trying to awaken 4 crystals and save the world from darkness. and it really never gets any more complex.
the battle system in utterly simple turn based old skool easyness. the jobs just starting to make real sense in this edition.

where this game is great is the ease of play - the fact any amateur can pick it up and get to grips with one of the easiest systems in any FF. the remake has introduced recognisable charactermodels and personalities for the 4 light warriors ... Read More:

Final Fantasy Tactics has always appealed to those gamers who were looking for a FF game with a little extra kick, and let me tell you... this game has it in spades!

It begins with the same typical story, ripped straight from it's predecessor. Luso, a young boy, gets sucked into a magical book called a grimoire, and finds himself in the peculiar land of Ivalice. I'll spare you the torture of the the subsequent happenings, but it's all textbook fantasy from there on.

Luckily for me, and most other players, the story is not where this games strengths lie and is most definitely not the reason I bought it. Unlike other FF games, tactics relies heavily on what it's title would suggest and requires the player to do much more than simply hack n' ... Read More:

I think i'll run down through the major points of the game to make it easier, as there is a fair bit to explain...

Graphics: As would be expected with the DS, the graphics aren't great compared to any other platforms. However, compared to other ds games they aren't bad. It is quite pixelated, but pretty much as you would expect from this console.

Gameplay: Quite good really. You use the stylus to aim, which is very easy, and you can change the control settings to be more suitable for lefties if you want. The game is in thir person view, which is quite qell done. Enemies are quite well rendered and put down a lot of fire, not that you die very quickly but ah well. It uses the same health system as the Call of Duty series, that is you take damage but it ... Read More:

The case isn't big enough to put in all the storage cases, some of the protecters don't fit well.

It's ok if you don't want to carry all the games with you & the case is strong.

Value for money? I think not!!

The cover provides thick protective padding for the DS, and that's all the good I can say about it. The insides has a plastic holder that you slip the DS into, so that in theory you should be able to play games with the DS in the case. The cover doesn't quite match up with the buttons, but the worst part is that it is absolutely impossible to get the stylus out without removing the DS from the case, which leads to the case going back in my purse while I play. It's nice looking, but for gaming on the go it's not very good.

This game was good at first but I clicked on something and I lost my best mini-game. I only had 1 more game left and I cried all night. DO NOT GET IT.
I had to give it back. RUBBISH!
