I am a musician having studied for five years and achieving BA. I have always love the guitar and been envious of others being able to play one so easy. I bought Jam sesions second hand as i'd heard mixed reviews about it. The first point to be made is this is not a game. It has been said many times but people still think it's a game! It turns the ds into a tool, so hard core gamers are out. First, what i liked. I liked the set up menu, which states where everything is. I like the backgrounds and strings you can chose (some are said to be unlockable but they were all there), and the range of popular songs are great- Avril Lavigne to Coldplay. I was looking forward to this game as I love star wars, I it is great fun and a lot of the levels are great and well designed. However the return of the jedi levels are dire, the endor one being almost unplayable, I lost count the amount of time han fell off a log on a jump he just couldnt do, with the second characher behind unable to keep up. Also characters disappear or te camera angle changes so wildly you just cant see whats happening. That said, if you love star wars you will get a kick out of this, the bad levels aside, there are a lot of other great levels with many things to unlock.If you are not a stars wars fan or have little patience, stay away!

Just bought this game for my daughter as her first new DS game. Didnt think it would be so difficult but between us we can't get past level 1 by finding the princes lips. Beginning to be so frustrating !!! Please HELP

This was one of the first games i bought for me on the ds, and i have mixed feelings about it. Personally, i like the graphics, the lessons are fun to do, and you get to do OWL's in them, which makes you feel you're learning something. I aso liked how the touch screen was used to cast spells and how both screen and mic were used in the lessons. I also liked the fights because you had to be stratigic, especially when harry fights the death eaters! HOWEVER, this game has a lot of faults. For starters, what's with the grating sound? I've heard better mobile phone ringtones! I had to play with the sound off- a real shame as it could have complimented the graphics more. There's way to much fighting going on.
