Trying to describe this game to another person is hard, particularly if you want to get accross how addictive and fun it is! I try with friends, 'you go around catching fish and bugs and making friends, buying stuff and doing favours'. To which the usual reply is why? where does it end? Well.. it doesn't! And that is one of the things that I love!! You can do literally what you want to do, collect what you want without having to be tied to a boring 'mission' whose illusive completion prevents you from progressing in the game!

For those who do like a bit of a challenge there is the paying of the mortgage, but this can be done 'as and when' rather than being a necessity. The game is played in real time so at 11pm in the real ... Read More:

This is a good game, as much fun as Lego Star Wars. In fact, it's the same game in different clothes. But without the satisfaction of the Jedi Slam. My main issue with it (despite the 4 stars) is that it has a habit of crashing silently at the end of levels. Not crashing altogether, but just failing to provide the actions needed to finish the level, so you can keep playing for hours and never find out what you need to do. Very frustrating, and it always happens at the *end* of a level. e.g. today I was playing a level that involved scaring flocks of seagulls. I think the final flock needs to be scared by firing a bazooka at the cliffs, but as I only got one once, got killed, and no soldiers appeared after that, I won't know until I've replayed the level. ... This is a really good game. I'd heard fab reviews on it so I bought it myself. It arrived quite slowly but I'd not picked express so nevermind.
At first, you watch a little video, explaining what's going on. Then you pick the first part of world one and carry on going. You can't change charactor, you have to be Mario, but then it makes sense. The games are mixed difficulty; some are easy and some are hard. It does get annoying because if you get stuck on a part of a world, you have to complete it before getting onto the next part. There are 8 worlds all together. In each world there is about 10 levels. Each world is set in a different place including, Desert, Space and a more homey setting. I wouldn't get this game if you get easily irritated with not being ... Read More:

I was really enjoying playing this game and looking forward to getting past the many weak computer opponents to get to take on the 'big boys' at world championship level. However, when I got there (losing only two games to one opponent on the way) I found that all of the games at world championship level are timed. This would not be such a bad idea for a different challenge if the clock was set at a reasonable amount of time. However against the WEAKEST opponent at world championship level you have only 5 minutes on the clock to get through an entire game! The computer opponent usually moves almost straight away and can lay all its tiles on the board in one go. You on the other hand have no time at all to work on your letters and lose every time because you ultimately run ... Read More:

I am addicted to this game. I have been playing on it for a few days now and i have found that it is an enjoyable and exciting game.
In the past imagine games have been a bit dissapointing but this one is by far the best.
At the start of the game you are the only techer in a little school with 4 pupils. As you progress through the game the school gets bigger and more succsessful.
At the start of each week you create the timetable and while teaching the lesson you complete a number of tasks in order to teach them and then you mark one of the kids work at the end of the lesson.
At the end of the day you can personlise the classroom, clean the classroom, practise lessons or give the kids extra tuition.
This game is excellent and not repetive like other imagine ... Read More:

Ahhh... Nintendo. Nobody can beat Nintendo when it comes to the handheld gaming market. Nokia had a go with the N-Gage. I've only ever seen one N-Gage. And Sony had a slightly more respectable go with the PSP, which, while fun, broke fairly easily, became scratched and generally fell out of favour among those who wanted a more pick-up-and-play gaming experience.
The DS Lite improves on Nintendo's original release by making the console thinner, lighter and considerably better to look at. It's clear the Japanese gaming gurus took onboard all of the initial criticisms (of which there were not many) and built something that defies all expectations of handheld gaming.

To start with: the graphics. 2d graphics are crystal clear with bright, vibrant colours and a great resolution. ... Read More:

What else is there to say? It works. It does its job (very well), there are thousands of codes for (probably) every single DS game imaginable. It's easy to use, and effective.

The reason I gave it a 4 in the fun rating is because it's NOT fun typing in codes that can have potentially 100 charcters into your DS, but luckily you can copy and paste it into the software that came with it, which saves a lot of tedious tapping with the stylus.

The only problem I had is when I plugged it into my PC, sometimes the software didn't recognise it, but this could be because I was using Vista, and it's designed for XP. So Vista users, beware. It works, but it takes some fiddling.

Great product overall, and came in very useful.

This superbly designed console is great. One of the best features is the four adjustable brightnesses. I play on the third brightest setting which for me is really ample and the battery seems to last forever. Charging only takes a couple of hours too, and the power indicator lights are so stylish. The durable touch screen works well, the sound is good, and online wifi games are tremendous fun judging by the one I'm playing (Animal Crossing: Wild World - so addictive, especially if you play online with others - there's a varied demographic to play with too - the DS seems to appeal to all ages.)
The white DS doesn't show up fingerprints and stays clean. It's really satisfying to insert the stylus into it's hole.
I also own Touch Golf and New Super Mario Bros. and I'd recommend them both. ... Read More:
