Visually the game is great with the best storyline yet. The videos and the cast in them as also excellent. Where the game fails is that it's basically more of the same. While the addition of another race should add to the mix, those units are basically redressed units of factions from earlier C&C games. The missions are also the same.. capture.. destroy.. protect... with little variety regardless of which side you choose to play as. I had high hopes for this game but it leaves me not wanting to go near C&C again and I've played them all.

This game has only one flaw and that is the large machine gun totting SS man in the final chapters...but that aside it is well worth the money.

I have read all of the revues of this game and find some of them laughable. If it is too short try playing it on the hardest level...if it doesn't run on your machine check the spec required first.

I have played every MOH and Brothers in Arms and Call of Duty as they appear and this is by far the best...Call4 is a close second but this is top.

If you have to buy a game for pure pleasure go for this one...if you just want to complain try anything from CDV or better yet Bioshock.

Ok, so World of Warcraft is officially the biggest MMORPG, but buying this game gives you the opportunity to experience Azeroth in a whole new way.
If you have played WoW, you will recognise many of the environments, characters, and even music in Warcraft 3; even down to the additional quests you can undertake with the floating yellow exclamation and question marks, this game.
However Warcraft 3 takes the format, and gives it structure and a storyline. Its almost like a WoW mod, which is proven as there is a WoW mod for Warcraft 3.
I recommend this beautiful game to anyone who has experienced Azeroth, and to anyone who wants a brilliant rts.

I'm not going to go into too much detail here, because it's mostly to be found in the other reviews.

But basically, this is a great game with most of the character and charm of forgotten realms games that have came before, but is rendered almost unplayable by the shoddy cameras, the lack of control, the moronic AI and many glitches that include the game refusing to start if it doesn't detect 128MB of graphics memory (which it often doesn't detect even if you do have it). The patches that were released do very little to improve on these, but the Mask of the Betrayer expansion pack fixes these much as a patch would be expected to and turns the game into something entirely more playable, into something that fans of the series should have been given in the first ... This pack offers incredible value for money but I assume will only appeal to those who wish to revel in nostalgia. The pack offers 100s of hours of gameplay and, although the graphics on the older games is nowhere near the standard of modern games, they are still great fun to play.

Just to set the record straight, there are patches to resolve all the issues that I am aware of. Visit the cncworld website for free downloads.

A very good program, which I love using - but there are issues.

Minor fault
Some of the lower ranked 'opponants' on the program make some very strange moves - for example, sacrificing the Queen for no reason at all - when they are winning. This turns the game around immediately.

Major fault ......
The program sometimes calls a stalemate - (thus ending the game) when it is clearly not a stalemate. Quite often, this happens just as I'm about to call an extremely obvious checkmate.

Having said that, I would still recommend this program.

LOTR Online is the first MMORG that hasn't constantly reminded me of the fact that I'm playing an MMORG: neither the monotonous gameplay or sub-par grahics found in other games of this genre are present here, mainly owing to the fact that Turbine have taken great pains to ensure that all the side quests provide an interesting and often involving sidestory to the main one. At times I've even forgetten I'm playing on-line at all, a sure sign in my eyes that this is a great game in its own right; not just because it's massively multiplayer. As you level you are also constantly aquiring new traits and titles, either gained from exploring certain areas of the map or killing a cetain number of mobs etc, all of which relieve the grind.
The in-game enviroments are by far the most ... Read More:

Just got this game for my grandsons to play, ages 6 and 4 they both love Lego Starwars on PC and Nintendo DS and Wii. All very excited, it installed ok, but won't play, error message about emulators? I've deleted and disabled everything I can think of, tried installing it on 3 other computers in the house. No joy, two very disappointed little boys and a frustrated granny and I can't send it back. Good to see other punters are as fed up as us. I give it no stars.
