Not a game for Settlers fans, its been dumbed down a good measure.

I bought it for my girlfriend, but she does not play a lot of PC games so I thought it would be OK for her. Its certainly easy enough. She did enjoy it to a point but got bored of it.

I will admit its fun enough to play for a while, but the total absence of depth will leave you not bothering to return. Can highly recommend for young children, or people very new to gaming. But to anyone else I would suggest your not get your monies worth.

Well after 4 days of cursing and swearing, I finally got everything installed. 4 days after that, my computer died a violent death.

Having installed it on Vista (SP2), and it installed perfectly, all I can say is WOW!!!!

I've just completed "Portal" and it is amazing.

And Half Life 2 is just amazing. Every so often I have to walk away. The atmosphere is just terrifying. Be warned. It's a 15, but I do wonder if it shouldn't be an 18 for atmosphere and some of the monsters.

I've only had it for a few weeks, and have not played Episodes 1 or 2, and I don't have network access, so Team Fortress is out, but I am so pleased with what I got. And all for £15 from Tesco.

Go get it..

The game is very realistic and I love playing this - I have been looking for a suitable strategy game and this was perfect. I really can not express how good it really is, but I can say that the graphics are amazing and so is the actual history (I know the history of Rome).

Opposing fronts is a stand alone add on to the original COH game.

First of all, I've had comapny of heroes for a while and it is brilliant, interesting, varied and has two well balanced sides and a wealth of units you can use for different applications each with individual skills and upgrades.

Opposing fronts adds two new armys to the mix, the british and the german panzer elite. The british have a rather sparse collection of units, commandos, basic infantry and some tanks, all of which take ages to build. The germans have a large collection of rather useless vehicles. Wasnt impressed with either of them. For multiplayer you'll try with the british for a bit but will end up back with your favourite of the original two armys.

Video Games : Fallout Collection (PC DVD)
I actually bought this package over a year ago and forgot to leave a response (oops).
But it is a remarkable package!
Fallout 1 has to be my favourite out of the whole package, it must be said it is a fascinating game!
It has crude and sometimes sick humour, but that's exactly what i love about this game, it's hilarious.

Fallout 2 is ok, i'm finding it a bit slow to start with (unless you're not meant to use guns at all in it....) but still a good game.

The Brotherhood of Steel game is all right.
It has taken quite a bit of slating from the hardcore fans, but it does what it intended to do.
Make a squad based Brotherhood of Steel game.
It didn't do it as well as i had expected, but hey, see it as a "bonus ... Read More:

I don't own any other Sims 2 expansions so I can't really compare it to much, but I did find that it contributed very little considering the price.

The only real perks of owning this is that you can own a car (far too much hype about this considering it's merely there for aesthetic purposes), the ability to become a vampire, and extra places to visit 'downtown', which all look the same anyway..

However, some of the new objects are quite impressive (especially for those who like turning their sims homes into pent houses and clubs!) and the two new hair styles were desperately needed.

All in all, I'd only recommend this game to a dedicated Sims fan and not to the casual gamer. Personally I'm looking forward to getting my hands on apartment ... Read More:

Over a period of time I have kept putting it off and putting it off but, eventually and with some trepidation(see some of the other reviews)I finally bought the Rail Simulator.

I wish I hadn't!

The manual was anything but helpful, the game(?)was appalling, the sounds dreadful. It was almost impossible to find advice and guidance and in the 3.8 GB of space it takes up the makers could have done much, much better. Then to play the game one has to keep the disc in all the time one is playing!.

That is a definite no-no.

So, when my patience was exhausted yet another real hurt came when I was trying to uninstall - it takes nearly an hour!!

What a total waste of money.

I have bought far more superior rail simulation ... Read More:

Video Games : Mount and Blade (PC DVD)
This game is great for so many reasons. Sure, it has it's downsides but when you bear in mind it's from an indie developer without megabucks you can really appreciate the concepts here; fresh ideas, thrilling gameplay and, for me, utter addiction.
The combat has been touted as some of the best real time combat yet seen and I have to agree. It's faced paced, thrilling and as you get better immensley satisfying. It's great fun charging yourself and your steed into a pile of enemies and seeing them crumple. It's also great trying out new weapons, be it ranged, polearms, axes, swords, halberds, etc. they all handle differently and you can really pick one to suit your playing style. Also, the combat system itself is deceptively simple. The idea of using the mouse to control where you deliver the blow ... Read More:
