This is easily one of the best games I have ever played. I wouldn't normally touch this sort of game with a partically long pole, but decided to give it a chance. It gets the balance between action and role-playing just right. Once you get your head around the slightly complexed leveling up system (best learnt by jumping into the game and working it out as you go along, It'll all suddenly seem so clear)you'll be hooked. Unlike World Of Warcraft it doesn't take 50 hours to get to the point when you finally feel upto taking on that deadly mudcrab. There is a remarkable amount of quests and side quests & the Game of The Year Edition includes the Shivering Isles expansion which has around 15 hours worth of extra gameplay. Overall I must have ... G1 Jockey 2008 is highly enjoyable and addictive but fails for a few reasons: 1. The graphics have not improved (dramatically) since the 2003 version on the PS2. 2. The inbetween races scenes in story mode are over long, cliched and date from the ice age - surely a few voice actors and such are not too expensive rather than having to read stuff over and over. 3. The training system could certainly be better. However, if you want to be a jockey, this is the closest most of us will get and the actual racing is good fun, if you don't ride your horse to its style you won't do well and if you are on a donkey, the good horses will beat you even if you run a great race - the playability is great. This is no different from the ps2 singstars except for the online jiggery pokery. The highlight is the singstore, a great credit cad muncher it is though. The 30 songs that come on the disc are Ok pretty varied so no one goes wanting. Singstore offers hundreds of extra tracks at under a pound each, well 99 pence. at such a reasonable price it isn't difficult to get loads more songs. At the moment there are just shy of three hundred songs to download with more being added almost every week.

As somebody who owns both Virtua Tennis 3 and Top Spin 3, I have to say that although Virtua Tennis 3 is brilliant, Top Spin 3 is in a league of it's own. Believe it or not I'm not a real fan of real-life tennis. The reason I bought Top Spin 3 in the first place was because I enjoyed Virtua Tennis 3 so much. I bought AO2 a while ago and was well impressed. Im still having fun thanks to the online gaming, despite the glitches. You follow tyson rios and elliot salem, a pair of armored, double hard mercanaries with fully custom weapons. The graphics are stunning as is the gameplay. You can sneak around enimies while the other player distracts them and permorm melee attacks - normally a skull fracturing headbutt among a few others. Also theres the weapons ranging from pistols and SMGs to grenade launchers and miniguns, all customiseable and pimped out. The story mode although short is great 2 player and can be played through a few times before it gets boring.
