Nice fighting game to keep you busy. The PSP does well to get all of this onto the small console, but, it can get a bit repetative.
The comments about loading times are very valid. It gets so frustrating when visiting the village / viewing the map / or teleporting from one place to another. Way too long!
The first half of the game is good as you progress up the experience ladder and gather better weapons and train up your companion. Later on as you work out how to kill the monsters, you quickly beat the system and then the boredom can set in.
Make it more challenging and cut down the loading times and you're onto a winner.
I WILL buy the version 2 as I enjoyed this one. Just hope they've taken on board all the above criticisms. ... Read More:

Be Careful, I thought this would allow me to play my PSP on the TV. IT WILL NOT. You need a composite cable and a compatible TV. So don't buy this expecting to play on your TV. It is only any good for Audio and video. Why you would want to make the compressed video of a PSP the size of a TV I don't knw, but there you go!

A Great addition to the PSP that I bought to allow me to watch my PSP movies and play the games on my Phillips 32" LCD TV (Bought the pack mainly for the component cable for this purpose). I would highly recommend this pack, however I am posting this review to make sure that you check that your TV is 'compatible with NTSC Video Format' and not just PAL before purchase... Unfortunately I didn't!

You will not see any picture, just hear sound, as the PSP only works on NTSC compatible TVs. Check with the TV manufacturer!

Otherwise that Pack is a great buy for anyone with a compatible TV.

I'm not a hugely experienced games player, but this had me totally involved, and convinced me that the PSP had been a worthwhile purchase.

Imagine an abstract Escher world of staircases, platforms, holes and walkways which can revolved in 3D; it is "walked" by a lone character, and by manipulating his world he chases shadows or "echoes" of himself.

I found the game more addictive than any other I have ever played; the repetitive string quartet track adds to the intensity of the experience (but I'm a classically-trained musician so I'm probably biased!)

If you like flashy adventure action games this probably isn't for you, but if you want a concentrated brain workout, give it a go!

185.Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus (PSP) from: Konami
March 28, 2008
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus (PSP)
First off this isnt a sequel. Think of it as a expansion or add-on. The sole purpose of portable ops plus is to expand on that highly addictive habbit of gaining more soldiers for your teams and to that end great soldiers of the past games are now avaiable. Old snake, roy campbell, raiden, SEAL's, genome soliders and much more are available. If you loved recruiting new soldiers from the past MPO you'll love this.

Single player 4/5: It's not a campaign so dont get any ideas. Basically you can import your whole team over from portable ops or start off fresh if you wish and then go into infinity mission. It is seperated into 4 difficulty levels adding 5 new stages each. The basic point of the stages is to get to the red advance point from the old MPO ... Read More:

The graphics for this game are absolutely amazing and leave games like MIdnight Club in the shade. The driving experience is is easy to use and easy to learn. It has great tunes including the theme from Hackers, these play in the background as you drive and are a great feature.

The betting and pink slip races are spot on and can be equally frustrating and exciting as you gamble your hard earned cars and seek to mod new ones. The most fun is the range of cars in the game from the Civic Type-R to the Dodge American muscle cars.

This is a truly great game that hasnt left my PSP for 2 weeks. 5 stars!

In direct comparison with the previous HP game for the PSP (goblet of fire), this really shines despite the better reviews G.O.F. received. The graphics are so, SO much better as well as the music and especially in its story telling through BREATHTAKING cutscenes which I sorely missed in G.O.F. Also the great voice acting by the cast really immerses you into the game -another thing largely lacking in G.O.F. This game, to put it simply made me want to play it...ALOT! I could hardly put it down (despite my library of games with the very highest ratings) With the previous HP, i became quickly bored and irritated with the gameplay and left it well alone.

This game has the feel of an open ended RPG in an environment all Potter fans will go crazy for! (its ... Read More:

TOCA 2 on the PSP was fantastic. Obviously the graphics were of slightly less quality than the PS2 version but apart from that the PSP was a direct port from the PS2 one.

TOCA 3 on the PS2 is one of the best driving games available on any platform and there is literally hours and hours of fun to be had. Maybe I should have taken more notice of the word "challenge" in the title of the PSPS version. I was expecting it to be another direct port but sadly it isn't.

Gone are the huge variety of different cars to complete events in and its place are just five championships at ever increasing difficulty levels. This would be OK but before you compete in any of them, there are a number of tests you have to do. They include following the racing line ... Read More:

189.Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force (PSP) from: Konami
March 02, 2007
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force (PSP)
Overall, Yu Gi Oh! GX Tag Force is a brilliant strategy game that has many advantages up its sleeve to keep players attention, sadly, however, with a boring story mode that game suffers extremely badly with a monotonous tone and after a while, players will go in search of something more eventful. The duelling is fuelled with so much attention it is a shame the game overall is not. Especially since only Yu Gi Oh fans will want to play this, which again is a shame because strategists will love this. Mix that with being overly difficult at times, I would not recommend this game to anyone but a fan of the show.
