2009 Fallout 3......

This is no review, its a reminder so no one be jumping down my throat okay. Bethesda are no light weights when it comes to the RPG gaming table. The success of the Elder Scroll series is a gentle reminder for all of us that the minds behind Fallout 3 are going to deliver us something special.
The amount of scope, integrity, depth and solid gameplay offered by the likes of Oblivion is clearly being transferred into Fallout 3. I have no doubt in my mind that us gamers are going ... Read More:

The big dilemma is whether to buy PGR 4 or Forza motor sport. Well I can tell you now that PGR 4 is no were as realistic as Forza. It also isn't for the hardcore racing fans who like to tune cars and buy accessories and rims and such like. However the graphics are great and it is really good fun on career mode. The online play is also good but the lobby's take quite a long time to load and the different varieties of modes you can play is not amazing. Having said all this I really do like this game and the feature of moving your way up the leader board in single player is a nice touch. If you want a good solid enjoyable racing game that does not have to many frills such as tuning facilities then thins is the game for you!

The PSP is really a multimedia player, supporting photos, MP3's and video on it's large screen, as well as a decent internet and games support.
The games and UMD's released for it, however, are a joke.

I think that Sony should scrap the idea of a UMD based console and re-release it as a games compatable multimedia player, with a faster processor, built in solid state memory (like the ipod has) and a touch screen & stylus.

Either way, a good quality multimedia player as it is, at a low price with (now) cheap memory.

Well... I haven't exactly pre-ordered it YET but I will do, soon. I own this game for my PS3 and I've had great fun with it. The possibilities will be endless in the PC version (not literally) of this game, modding, new features and hopefully the system requirements won't be as demanding as Cryis, even though they're two completely different genres. Only 45 days, 2 hours, 55 minutes and 30 seconds, but hey, who's counting?

This is a classic old school athletics game. In essence it's not really changed since the old Daily Thompson game on the Spectrum. There's a whole lot of waggling and button mashing.

There's nearly 40 events, but a lot of them are very similar. The more unique ones (table tennis) are have been done very quickly and somewhat poorly. The highlights being the sprint running.

THere's an amount of randomness and lack of skill in many events. THe 1500m you can be far behind up to the last lap and still easily win. There's little strategy.

This does have online for up to 8 players, which is where it becomes more fun. This is the kind of game that comes into its own in large groups, with a couple of beers.

Perhaps I was wrong to expect more from it, but it seemed like there just weren't enough new items in this pack to justify the cost. Colour options are quite limited, so you can't always get the shape of sofa you like, for example, to match the colours in the rest of the room, and a lot of the things that I've seen at Ikea and would want to have appeared in the game weren't included. I think they picked the most popular Ikea products, and though I find it funny that the sims can now have a bookshelf identical to mine, there's not much variety, and the designs chosen are mostly the simpler, boxy ones, rather than anything more daring. Although it's called 'Home stuff', you basically get items for a few styles of living room, study and bedroom - there's nothing for ... Read More:
