So this may not have been aimed at my demographic but I decided to give it a go due to a friend's recommendations. To get straight to the point, Animal Crossing suffers from a lack of diversity. It may be charming enough to hold your attention for a while, but it could have been done with so much more oomph.

I was overjoyed to get this game, being a huge lover of kareoke and dancing and thought it would be fantastic. I had it for one night and sold it immediately (thanks Amazon).

Although I did have fun (most likely assisted by copious amounts of wine)! I found the game highly irritating because:

You have to go through a long and boring tutorial initially.

Making the character dance just involves wiggling your hand with the remote and messing about with the nunchuck. Since I clearly couldn't do this with a mike in my hand we had one person singing and one dancing.

There is is a very limited selection of cover songs, of which only a handful are good/recognisable.

You can unlock other songs ... Read More:

If I may offer a different view for potential buyers interested in this game, I'll try to be quick.

As a large and long time fan of FFVII (my first FF experience) I was sorely dissapointed to find that the weakest aspect to this game was the story. Three factors contibute to this fault: horrendous dialogue; over the top cheesy US voice acting; and character motives that have no real understanding behind them. It creates a frustrating and at times offensive experience, particularly for those that enjoyed and cherish characters realised in FFVII.

Surprisingly the main draw for me, and the reason I score this game so highly, is the gameplay in here. I wont specify the mechanics but suffice to say it is a great offering and will quench ... Read More:

Ahhh... Nintendo. Nobody can beat Nintendo when it comes to the handheld gaming market. Nokia had a go with the N-Gage. I've only ever seen one N-Gage. And Sony had a slightly more respectable go with the PSP, which, while fun, broke fairly easily, became scratched and generally fell out of favour among those who wanted a more pick-up-and-play gaming experience.
The DS Lite improves on Nintendo's original release by making the console thinner, lighter and considerably better to look at. It's clear the Japanese gaming gurus took onboard all of the initial criticisms (of which there were not many) and built something that defies all expectations of handheld gaming.

To start with: the graphics. 2d graphics are crystal clear with bright, vibrant colours ... Read More:

Once again the Lego PSP series the programmers have done the business. Whilst not an exact copy of the first 3 films, this game only falls short of probably the best game on the PSP - Lego Star Wars - by a whisker.

It still has the comedy combined some excellent problem solving which, whilst not too difficult, does on occasions make the grey matter work.

The Characters are excellent and the mumbled dialogue perfectly spoken with an accent which relates directly to the people in the film.

It is very difficult to put down and with the stirring theme song always on hand this is a must for any PSP game player.

I bought the Dual Charging Station last week and it has worked as advertised, it took 3.5 hours to charge both the battery packs. The only fault at the moment is that its not interactive with other packs. If it keeps on like this it will save me a lot of time and money getting normal batteries. My impression at this time is definately get one.
