Used Price: £11.49

The alarm is quite nice to look at, it's quite compact and is very easy to set up radio stations and alarms (2).

There are only 5 pre-sets for radio stations and although there are two alarms, as far as I can tell you can only have one radio alarm and one buzzer alarm.

There is a large button at the top of the alarm that has a double function: sleep button for alarm and dimmer switch for the backlight.

All in it's a nice little alarm. I would however, echo the previous comments that in the age of space tourism, cloning and quantum engineering that I'd expect a little bit more from an alarm. Especially when you can buy a freeview box/multi region dvd player for the same price.

3.MY-Link IDE Ultra ATA 100/133 To SATA Converter Adapter for host motherboard from: E W Link Co. Ltd.

Computer : MY-Link IDE Ultra ATA 100/133 To SATA Converter Adapter for host motherboard
Plug this into your motherboard IDE, add the SATA drive and you are away. It's that easy.
You will need a spare power line from the PC PSU to power the device, but most PSUs have spares these days.
It comes with a SATA cable.
Very useful piece of kit if you want a SATA drive and you only have an IDE on your MOBO.

This motherboard is a great way to build a system around an old socket 754 chip (if you have one to hand). It is very reliable (I have had no problems with it at all) and would make a good basis for a home server set up or maybe a media centre. The only lacking feature is a gigabit ethernet but an additional pci gig ethernet card can be bought for £15 so it's not such a problem. However, remember that this technology is old so do not expect to build a system for playing modern games or encoding HD films.

Had this board running on my system for a couple of months now, and have had no problems at all. Initially before i bought it i was concerned about the fitting of the CPU fan as it looked extremley close to the chipset fan, But the CPU fan went in with room to spare. Other connections are well thought out and allow room for air to get round them. The documentation is easy to follow and explained clearly, all the connectors for the board (SATA/IDE, USB, Firewire..etc) are in with the motherboard.
But if your computer case came without mounting screws you'll need to buy the paper washers/screws and motherboard jackscrews to fit the board to the case.
I dont have any regrets getting this board.
