Brought this as a gift for my father and tested it out before I gave it to him. I tested the device in two locations with two different aerials and the results were very variable.

Tested at work with supplied aerial, 3rd floor near a window. I could not receive any channnel's at all, very disappointing. Tested at home, again with the supplied aerial. This time I got 9 channels but some were the radio stations.

When I plugged this into my household aerial however the results were much better. Device found 66 channels, all the major TV stations and with excellent ... Read More:

My computer is 10 feet from the window and the stick does not have any major problem picking up the TV signal, given that the analogue signal at my house (Melton Mowbray) tends to be weak and I need to use Sky dish for my main TV. The only problem is sometimes the picture and the sound are slightly out of sync - I'm not sure if this is due to signal / stick / my computer / software.

The software on the CD installed without problems but it took almost 15 min. However, it seems a bit bloated and is slow to install and to load each time you want to watch TV.

Installation was much more straight forward in Ubuntu Linux 8.04 if you know what you are doing despite the manufacturer says it is not supported, and the Linux software ... Read More:

4.XFX 8400GS 256MB nVidia PCI Express Graphics Card from: XFX Nvidia

Computer : XFX 8400GS 256MB nVidia PCI Express Graphics Card

I bought this to replace the original graphics card installed in my HP Pavillion PC. The quality of the graphics and the controller software is very good and I noticed an instant improvement from the previous card.

I chose this card specifically because it came with a fan to cool the chip - I'm hoping that this will extend its lifespan compared to my last graphics card which started going fuzzy after 12 months of use. I can't hear any noise from this as the 2 fans on the PC case drown it out. If you do have a very quiet computer you may notice some noise though - bear this in mind.

The reasons for only 4 stars:
1. The instructions for installation aren't the best, I would advise you to ignore them and just install and then ... Read More:

This is a HD ready card, and HD players are over £300. So you can cheaply watch HD movies with this card. However, it only works properly with driver 84.21 from 2006. At first, you might think.. well I don't want it then, but driver upgrades after 2006 were mainly for the NVidia 7000 series, so you don't really lose anything by using old drivers. I recommend this card as a bargain, just get the old drivers, it makes no difference.

I've had this player now for a week. I have owned one other mp3 player but play music through many different devices, like computer and xbox and garmin gps (plays music as superb hi fidelity mp3 player). Now the the sound on this little device is amazing! No matter what mp3 you have, it will sound great. You can adjust the audio perfectly to your taste using the EQ but out the box the sound at factory default setttings is second to none.

Design and build make this feel like you are holding a tablet that will last a thousand years in your palm. For me the headphone jack is extremely sturdy so far - it grips the jack very tighly and is the best one i've had - so many other devices i have returned for the can't hear sound in one side of headphone in ...
